The Config file worked. Thank you! Some Kitteh coins will be coming your way.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I think the wallet only displays hashes when mining WITH the CPU-miner of the wallet.

I start to doubt that any coin will ever be confirmed on cipherpool.

Can somebody confirm again that the coins get confirmed for them ?

If yes, how long after starting mining ?

I hope I'm not wasting my time here

i can also confirm they do confirm and they do payout, i have recieved all of the coins that have confirmed so far :-)

if it helps the pool owner, it ooks like freshly mined blocks take 50 confirmations. :-)

Windows binary ready. However, no nodes available, so I can't use it yet.

I'm sorry, thanks for compiling this, but doesn't your virustotal scan link says that there are 2 viruses detected in your file??

Quick question, is it better to longpoll or not to longpoll with new coin? I'm assuming not to longpoll but I'm not positive of all the technical workings of longpolling.
I have some miners longpolling and some not....

The wallet only shows mining speeds if you're mining via the wallet, which dates back to Bitcoin's original CPU-mining launch. Mining through CGMiner or BFGMiner will show your hash rate in the miner window only. So long as you see a hashrate in your miner, be patient. If you're not patient, try a pool Smiley

Could you explain?

This means that 2/48 virus detection sites flagged it as having a virus -- notably they show different viruses.. that means 46 virus scanners think it is clean, notably the bigger security companies are in that 46.

This is what I got Sad

Did you relaunch your wallet after adding the .conf?

Is the .conf a .conf.txt? -- right-click and open Properties and make sure it says: Type of File: CONF File (.conf)

EDIT: I see it is a proper .conf -- try removing the capitalization -- kittehcoin
ALSO - please change your RPC Password now that you've posted it here.

http://localhost:22566/   -- I actually use a CONF file in CGMiner and my pool setup looks like this:
"pools" : [
   {
      "url" : "http://localhost:9332/",
      "user" : "REMOVED",
      "pass" : "REMOVED"
   }
]

Is this a joke?  There's already a cat coin with over 1 gigahash of mining power on it and 10+ pools and p2pools.

To make things worse, you even FORKED THE ACTUAL DOGECOIN CLIENT.

The real catcoin had trouble at launch but works fine now.  This kittehcoin thing is just garbage.

Catcoin is garbage.. the client launched with a missing dll, the blockchain was a mess with forks at the beginning, and it's literally just litecoin.. The logos are all litecoin, the launch page is litecoin. Why anyone would support the dev behind that is beyond me.

It works for me but not on the port mentioned above - 22566. Use different port - 15678 instead. Change it in the wallet .conf file and configure cgminer to use it.

Actually i think that this one is better than catcoin. It was and is a total mess with multiple delayed launch inappropriate network infrastructure, everything was crashing when it was launched. At least this one had a decent launch

I have only learned to solo mine a few days ago. I tried it on a low difficulty coin like luckycoin just so I can see if I'm successfully mining. Which I did mine some coins. The Luckycoin wallet did show a hash rate. Albeit an incorrectly low hash roate. But, it did show a hash rate. So, does my Doge wallet. Not, seeing a hashrate in there kinda makes me worried I'm wasting my time. All I get in CGminer is multiple "Block detected".
