Great tips. Of course BTC has a great secure system . But users can follow simple security rules to protect their money. Of course we shouldn't share private keys and password. 2FA system is a great way to save money too

- We must have our own way to keep our Bitcoin safe. The account we use must have a unique password, and not easily guessed.

- Do not equate account passwords associated with Bitcoin with other accounts such as social media, because it is vulnerable to hack, let alone the followers of its social media a lot.

- Use two-factor or 2FD authentication. Additional security layers are easy to apply. Quite a few apps like Google Authenticator as a 2FD installation provider. In essence, it works as a second security layer after the password. When you've entered a keyword into your account, the system will request a two-factor authentication code. The six-digit code does not need to be memorized because it changes every 30 seconds.

- And one more, do not trust everyone. Suppose we provide information about our Bitcoin account to our Mother, it is not impossible that our mother could just tell it to someone else. With the spread of such information will increase the potential for breaking.
it could be one of the easiest ways to keep bitcoins from hackers, but I have another safer way to store bitcoins in an external wallet. this is useful to avoid hackers hacking our storage wallet

That's the best pick to be on the safer side. These days you could see lots of bitcoin wallet service providers around, and here while creating an account you need to be careful. Some goes away packing away all the holdings in no time. Go with trusted wallet service and enable each and every security services provided to stay away from hackers.

For me, if you want your account to be secured and protected you
have to use a unique email and password for your accounts. Review
all the website you are entering before you conduct its procedure.
Be a private person specially in social media platforms

what about the security of myetherwallet?? myetherwallet has been hacked and i've lost some very valuable tokens, there is no two-factor or 2FD authentication on myetherwallet
There is nothing you can do to prevent that, make sure you never expose your private key while opening the wallet and the best case scenario is to use hardware wallet to store your coins and you can connect it to MEW, if the hackers somehow takes control of the domain then you cannot do anything.
When it comes to bitcoin the best case is to store you coins in an offline wallet and never store your coins in exchanges or web wallets as you never know how secure they are.

My tips in keeping your bitcoin from hackers is create an email address that is hard to memorize then make sure you keep it secretly by your own same as the password. Do not enter also to unknown link because their are possibilies that those are hackers. Let just be responsible enough in every move we do.

My most saved way is to create a wallet on a PC that is completely clean of any viruses and with original windows. create wallet and make back up wallet online and offline. make sure no one knows where you keep it and you always remember the place and how to access it again. and do not too often open the wallet if not too necessary. refference : personal experience.

The program should be old and should be paid decent to find fault. Gives a lot of importance to the team behind the exchange. And the most important thing is that we must stay awake because of the risk of trying to attack. And I personally use two factor authentication for security and I feel it is fully secured.

On the off chance that you are putting away bitcoin in your PC for beyond any doubt you need ensured PC and have a refreshed PC and hostile to infection however too you need a secret word on your wallet to ensure that nobody will have the capacity to get to it or to make exchanges yet generally for me I simply utilized the two-factor or the validation which is quite great and it truly gives a security in your record. You ought not tell anybody that you have a bitcoin or that where your bitcoin is put away, for me I never tell anybody aside from my family however they don't know how it functions and where do I store it to make a protection with my coins.

yes, all your tips above is good, i agree with that.
There are certain ways that you can do in order for your account to be safe and get rid of hackers. First thing that you must remember is not to give details about your account to anyone. Don't enter some forum which ask details about your account because for sure they are after something. Last thing that I can advice you is to keep your account with yourself.

If you are storing bitcoin in your computer for sure you need to have protected computer and have an updated computer and anti-virus but as well you need to have a password on your wallet to make sure that no one will be able to access it or to make transfers but mostly for me I just used the two-factor or the authentication which is pretty good and it really gives a security in your account. You should not tell anyone that you have a bitcoin or that where your bitcoin is stored, for me I never tell anyone except my family but they don't know how it works and where do I store it to make a privacy with my coins.

Simple tips to keep my Bitcoin from hackers, we must be carefull of our private key or password. We don't put our password on mobile or that are connected to the internet because it is usually easy to hack. We just write a piece of paper or we can create a flash drive to save our password and we put it in our bag that we carrying everyday especially when we are workers so that it will prevent to hackers.

The reason why have to keep safe private key and avoid accessing sites that asking to save your account there. Sometimes websites that we entering is phishing sites where hackers are watching for those who will be there victim. I also use hardware wallet that available everywhere I go as long as there is an internet to access.

It seems like a fundamental mis-judgement in security, if you use some type of password to begin with?
a password to an exchange? a password to an encrypted file?

I have written a more thorough guide here, while it covers mostly Ethereum wallets, the general idea applies to any crypto!

5 EUR free crypto on signup! XCM exchange token ⚜⚜⚜  CoinMetro - Copy Trading - Margin - 0% maker fee  ⚜⚜⚜ - generate €500 volume in July for a chance to win €100!

I strongly agree with this and it provides good information for your comfort and goodness together. I am very happy with this.

The only tip that i can share as far as the security of my crypto holdings are concerned - DON'T TRUST ANYONE. It's a good prevention already if you don't trust anyone specially those you don't know or any suspicious acts because some hackers employ social engineering just to get what they want from you.
