I was never interested in seeing The Internship. Beyond the blatant product placement, it looked horrible and it didn't seem like there was even a market or a demand for it.
In other words, no one seems to have given a shit about it.

Watched Rush. Being an F1 fan, that was a fantastic picture, as well as some great all round. Just surprised why was it ignored for the Oscars.

Like all of Vince Vaughn's films? His new one The Delivery Man looks shit too. Look at Vince Vaughn with his Vince Vaughn acting doing his Vince Vaughn face .

It's actually a remake of a French-Canadian film called Starbuck. The original was actually pretty funny and charming. As for the remake, it has the same director but with Vaughn, I don't know... I have a hard time cheering for him in movies. Except maybe in Lost World: Jurassic Park. But even then...

Just finished a French film by the name of Les Poupées Russes (Russian Dolls). I had seen it a couple of years ago but didn't remember much. Sequel to L'auberge Espagnole for those who know that one.
Other than hating the main character and it being slightly too long, it's still a fun little exploration of love and relationships in different countries.

Sure it was always going to be about product placement and basically kissing Google's ass, but Tiya Sircar made it watchable

I would like to recommend these films, some of them are underrated, but they are quite good. Unfortunately, they just lacked the hype that some other big films had. The films that I would recommend would be:
-Monster -The Talented Mr. Ripley -Big Nothing -Insidious -Shutter -Let Me In
And if you're into crude humor: -Bruno -Deuce Bigalow 1 and 2 -The Hangover 1 and 2
(I will edit this list from time to time to add new movies that I want to recommend)

Have you seen the original Let the Right One In? Both the book and film are fantastic. Monster is great. Charlize Theron is probably my favourite actress.

I actually enjoyed the original Let Me In as opposed to the remake. Haven't read the book, though... Agreed for Charlize! Great actress and a very interesting person.

I haven't watched a film in months as I've been busy with Bitcoin and posting on these forums haha. Got loads of stuff downloaded I want to watch, but will probably make a start on in the new year.
I'm actually happy to finally be done watching the pile of movies I felt obliged to go through! Now I can just watch stuff as I go along... No stockpiling for the time being. Nest one I'm looking forward to is Wolf of Wall Street. The book was pretty insane and I've heard that the drug use in the film is second only to Scarface. Should be a good one, with Scorsese and DiCaprio re-teaming once more! I'm looking forward to this too, it's just come to icefilms so i'll be having a watch over the next few days.

I just finished watching Lethal Weapon 3. I hadn't seen it in a while and it still holds up... At least as 90s action flick!
I may be watching Last Vegas tonight as well.

Ahhh Lethal Weapon, not seen those films in yonks. Miss the 90s, though I think that's a whole different topic of conversation. Have you ever seen the film: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter...and Spring? I remember watching the 4/5ths of it (I missed the very beginning) years ago on TV. I was captivated by it, would like to see that again.

I actually haven't seen it, though it's been on my radar for years. I've heard very good things. As for the 90s... I miss the action movies. All you needed was a fun script with sharp dialogue, slap on a couple of fun action sequences and you had a movie. As simplistic as many of them were, they were still fun as Hell. Makes me want to watch The Last Boyscout.

Las Vegas is surely a good movie. I wish I have old buddy like that when I'm old

Las Vegas is surely a good movie. I wish I have old buddy like that when I'm old I agree. I had a fun time with it. Not a memorable film by any stretch of the imagination, but it's definitely fun... Makes me wish I still had childhood friends, though moving away kind of helped in assuring that I wouldn't keep any.

It's like Netflix, but with every mainstream film you can think of and all free

Since I watched Batman Returns the other day, I thought I'd give The Dark Knight Rises another spin.
And just like I initially thought when seeing it in theaters, The Dark Knight is a superior film in every aspect imaginable.
