Yeah, This is 40 wasn't all that great. It's definitely not a comedy, either. More of a drama... Some of the same feel as Knocked Up, but less funny and less poignant, in my opinion.

Grab a joint and watch Pineapple Express.
Haha. Awful film that could only possibly be slightly better with a joint! You and I share the same opinion. It's funny too, since I tend to enjoy Seth Rogen's other efforts. I think the guy looks like a dick in person, but still. Yeah I was disappointed too. I like him in Knocked Up and Superbad etc. but this was crap. Just didn't get it at all. Probably because you're not an immature stoner? The scene where he puts his foot through the windscreen was pretty funny. It had a couple of laughs, but pretty shit overall. Superbad was great. Definitely one of the better teen movies of the last decade. Knocked up was alright. I need to see the semi-sequel 40 and Over or whatever it was called. Don't bother. That's not good either. I usually find Paul Rudd really funny but it's nowhere near as good as Knocked Up. Agreed on Superbad. It's hilarious! Yeah, I quite like Paul Rudd. Role Models was pretty good with Mclovin and Stifler in .

Deffo felt more of a drama. Had none of the charm of Knocked Up. Plus Apatow's films are really long and can get tedious easily. Funny People, uggh.

Anger Management was probably his last funny/half-decent film.

Yeah but he is taking home most of the gross. Fair play to him I guess, who cares what people think when you're making millions from shitty movies lol.

How does Sandler keep getting such high paid work? Sandler has, or at least used to have, a deal with Sony Pictures that basically permitted him to make any movie he wants with very little studio interference. Ever since then, the "quality" of his work has gone down. I still love a bunch of Sandler's older comedies. I even enjoyed Grown Ups for the most part. But Jack & Jill and Grown Ups 2? Those were absolutely unwatchable pieces of shit.

Being nominated as worst actor doesn't mean shit. Sylvester Stallone was nominated more than 20(!) times and people love him.

Lol! Great idea! Going to do it today. Also, maybe something avalanche themed will also do the trick.

That's an amazing choice while being snowed in. The remake was much inferior, but still so-so. Makes me want to watch other Carpenter films again.
