Here's a good movie from a few years back if you didnt catch it... "Source Code." Good drama
I watched that a couple of years ago on LoveFilm. Was pretty good, seeing the same scene over and over reminded me of Memento which is a great film, definitely recommended to those who haven't seen it. I thought it was ok, got a bit tedious in the end. I preferred his previous film Moon. I still need to watch that. It's one of those films that I keep saying that I'll watch but when I'm ready to watch a film it will completely blank me.

I watched Blood and Sand, but haven't seen the others so am interested to hear what people say. Might as well as watch them and find out for yourself though - so should I, come to think of it.

I liked Moon but I found it a bit bland in parts. Duncan Jones is going to direct the World of Warcraft movie. I wonder how that'll turn out.

I mean sure it's big, but a movie about it? Will watch that space haha.

It'll probably just be a cheesier lower-budget version of LOTR.

Even if Jones took over.

That is one of those movies that you have to be in the mood to really concentrate or you get lost in the plot and what is going on..

I just figured it'd be fun to start a thread to recommend movies to one another. With that said, feel free to share the good (and bad) stuff you've seen lately and if you want a recommendation, ask away!
As for me, I watched Prisoners recently and was pleasantly surprised. It's a very heavy film, but both Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal were amazing in their performances. Very well-written script, too.
Have at it!
American thriller film directed by Denis Villeneuve.

I like Martin Scorsese's work... Just recently, I've seen his newest movie "The Wolf of Wall Street". I found it a bit revelatory (but no big surprises anyway) about the way of living/thinking and ethics of "succesfull" investors in Wall Street. What do you guys think?

The 1987 RoboCop was great, watched it again last year and it has stood the test of time. Have you seen the 2014 version? It came out here on Friday, I haven't seen it yet - though I have plans to go.

I'll watch them all again sometime before I watch the reboot.

Haha, yeah, that was it. Stop motion always looks so dated. It's well Jason and the Argonauts.

American thriller film directed by Denis Villeneuve. Yup! And I'd say it's his best film to date. Better than Incendies (better performances) and lightyears ahead of Pylotechnique, in my opinion. In any case, he's a really cool guy and wish him the best for his future flicks!

Although GOA is none required for the series, I would not skip it so. Blood demands blood!
