Watched Dallas Buyer's Club last night. Highly recommend it. Some great acting.
I'll have to watch it soon. Not really sure what it's about based on the name of the title but I saw that it won awards - can't be bad I suppose. I'm gay for Jared Leto. MM's performance just looks like a skinny MM though haha. Haha, MM's lunch time scene in The Wolf of Wall Street is brilliant. I've watched it at least eight times on YouTube since watching the film. Fu-gay-zi, Fuga-zi. They could've cut his whole part out I think. They should've along with a load more and it'd've been a better film IMO. There was a lot of filler that did seem to make it unnecessarily long from a story telling perspective, but I felt that it added to its charm. Having said that, I started watching it quite late at night and as the clock ticked on I was pleading for it to finish.

I dunno, I saw more as a fun movie than something serious. Given the director, I was a little disappointed at the shoddy camera work and lack of any scenes with notable cinematic techniques. It went through ebbs and flows of alternating greatness and tedium. For every great 30 minute stretch there was a following dull 20 minutes of meandering dialogue.
^ I will agree with this though

Last thing I watched was 47 Ronin, and I liked it. You should enjoy it if you like fantasy and/or anime.

I watched the hobbit unexpected journey and desolation of smaug and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't compare it to anything, didn't judge it by the book or the cinematography which I thought was delightful, and didn't analyze anything. I just watched it and allowed myself to get completely immersed in the movie. I really love it!

Recently watched "Carrie" with Chloë Grace Moretz... one of the worst 1.5h in my movie-life unfortunately. No tension, no action, no fear. Really been watching forward to this movie.

Never heard of that movie. I will see the ratings first before I will watch the movie.

agreed. can't really fully understand people who are analysing movies like this. especially something like 'it looks so unreal'... it's a god damn fairy tail it's not suppose to be logic or real

Just watched "Thanks for sharing" and really liked it, the characters are not black and white, the plot is nice and it is a pretty accurate picture of addiction

Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac Vol.1 is like porno-drama movie, which starts with creepy rammstein SONG. That's all I watched vol.1 and vol.2 and must say that the film itself was kinda interesting but still some actors didn't live up to my expectations. To be honest I always enjoy watching Shia Labeufs films, but this one was a bit too "nude" for me. To conclude, I recommend this film to anyone who enjoys hot scenes and an interesting story as well.

You enjoy Shia's films? haha. Isn't his English accent meant to be terrible in this?

It is ok, but it is really slow...the main character kind of bugs me...in present day. When it flashes back, she is ok, and sometimes amusing, but something about the present day version of her bothers me...

Just saw The Lego Movie as imdb give it 8, 97% on rotten, and ended up falling asleep a few times. Yea, CG idea to use lego is definitely fresh, but the plot is meh, only kids would enjoy it.
No wonder, as it has been made specifically for children and not for adults. But I heard it's one of the best cartoon movies our there today so I guess I'm going to watch it with my cousin.
