Can someone recommend movies of Seven , The Shutter island types .
"Prisoners" with Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal has a similar feel. Kind of a mystery drama, that is pretty dark. That old movie "8MbM" with Nicholas Cage was ok...was sort of similar to Seven as well. Thanks for the list . Can you name few more , as I am off work for few days and can spend time on some good movies of similar genre . "The Town" with Ben Affleck was really good...not as dark as the above mentioned. "Training Day" with Denzel Washington is a classic too... "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" "Memento" used to be one of my favorite movies I have seen The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo & Memento , i will watch other ones. |

Have you seen The Cell? Quite bizarre but I'd say it's like a cross between Seven and Silence of the Lambs but with an interesting visual style. |

Just saw Rio 2 tonight at the theaters with my daughter...she really liked it. There were some funny parts...not the greatest animated movie IMO

Me too don't like Denzel that much. He is too much over-rated. But in this movie he is OK.... But the real start is the script. |

I liked the film The Bone Collector when I had Forensics class in high school. Good recommendation in my opinion, I've seen it many times sense and it has always been entertaining.

Me too don't like Denzel that much. He is too much over-rated. But in this movie he is OK.... But the real start is the script. i remember him best as the bad guy from that training day. other than that, i can't think of any movies i've seen him in. |
