imo, hollywood productions usually come out with material for the lowest common denominator.. since it's what gets people the most money. i like the more independent films that get to be more creative.
another movie i like is "jeff who lives at home."

"End of Watch" is a really good movie. Most of Oliver Stone movies are good too...

Moneyball was also good, "side effects" was ok, "Rush" was really good (i may have already said that).

This western Tombstone has always been one of my favorites. Its a story of wyatt Earp, his brothers and doc Holliday. Just one of the best in my opinion.

I hate westerns and I still thought tombstone was pretty good. How about old school gangster movies: Boyz in the Hood, and Menace 2 Society |

Someone already mentioned about the "Clouds atlas" , there everyone will find something for everyone
Cloud Atlas was pretty interesting concept. But one of the drawbacks was the duration. It was a bit too long.  |

i felt cloud atlas didn't connect the stories very well.. but i did like futuristic south korea.
This was really confusing in the book. I had very little idea what was actually going on. I was hoping the film would make it easier to understand but I guess not. I just watched "Dead Poets Society".It was recommended by our English Teacher and I liked it.
Yes that is a good one. I haven't seen that movie in years I've never seen that. |

I watched Robocop the other day, it was pretty good. I was surprised the swedish actor was the main role in it, last time I saw him was in "Snabba Cash" which is a swedish trilogy. Good thing he doesn't have an accent.  |
