Hadn't heard that Chris Tucker Minister story either, but he just got too greedy demanding big bucks for his films, now he can hardly get roles and has to work his way back up. I liked him in Silver Linings though.

Hmmm.... so you believe that Jack Nicholson's best performance was in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest? Have to disagree. OFOTCN was a great movie, but his best performance came in The Shining.

For all those bewildered by the length and pace of this film ("like, why does he show spaceships docking for, like, 15 minutes?"), here's a word you might want to think about:

Beauty.

a better word: inanity.

if i wanted to look at pretty shit, i'd go out in nature or stare at a picture. i hated 2001 for the same reason why i hated tree of life.

i generally like stanley kubrick films though.

Holy fuck I absolutely hated The Tree of Life. I agree with you, I love beautifully shot and cinematic films, but they need to have an engaging story too or they'll just bore me to death like The Tree of Life did (and most of Malick's other films).

im interested in seeing the secret life of walter mitty.

I was thinking of going to the theater and watching the movie... but then decided against it as it was starring Ben Stiller. All of his movies have been outright flops recently. Is the Blu-Ray out yet?

I think so. There's been a high quality webrip around for a couple of months at least.

Edit, yeah, blu-ray's out: http://oneclickwatch.org/?s=www.imdb.com%2Ftitle%2Ftt0359950

Yes... Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the best. But I am losing my patience, waiting for the next part. It is already more than three years since the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was released. When they are going to release the 5th part?

Well I saw some so-so comments about Bruce Willis and Die Hard, and about movie Taken.
Look guys, be realistic, Bruce is one of top 5 actors (for me, and for many people) in whole world, he is one of the best.
That is fact, he is legend of Hollywood, just as Tom Hanks, Arnie, Mel, Russell, Liam etc etc.
Why I like all Die Hard parts and Taken? Because they have story: One person can make difference.
