I saw the movie Divirgent yesterday, it was a decent movie. The world's people where divided in 5 groups, so they didn's had any wars anymore. And at a certain age, everyone had to choose there group they belonged to. I dont want to tell everything but you should watch it.

Watched Sinister and loved it. Can anyone suggest something similar? I haven't watched any good horrors lately.

Still Life (2013)
This is a movie that centers on loneliness and living a passive, uneventful life. The setting of the story is a bit unusual but simple, so what makes the movie interesting is the exaggerated sensibility of the main character. The main character is so compassionate and pitiful at the same time that viewers can't help caring about him and wanting to know what happens to him. The acting from all cast is convincing, the main actor especially did a superb job. The movie is slow paced but the mood is so nicely built that I didn't feel bored, on the contrary, I was amazed by the small details and the directors' sensitivity. There are many beautiful still shots of very ordinary things throughout the movie, like the title of the movie suggests. Some scenes are so pathetically real that they become funny. It is overall a good movie and it makes you want to do something about all the loneliness there is in the world.

Hey thanks, I'll give one of those Korean films a try. I also noticed that have extremely high IMBD ratings (but whatever, those aren't usualy accurate). Yes I've seen "The Silence of the Lambs". It was a great movie also. Still life sounds interesting too!

I watched the trailer, and now it also has 33% rating on RottenTomatoes. I would stay awake like the plague. Looks like a bunch of dumb jokes without any connection put together into a movie. I would recommend everyone to go see the new X-men flick, it is the best of the series in my opinion.

Taking my lil one to go see that new Angelina Jolie flick that comes out tonight. I don't think that many people here would be interested in it, but I will report back if it is any good. Seeing it in 3D...

Taking my lil one to go see that new Angelina Jolie flick that comes out tonight. Well.. if you are an American, then you might enjoy Angelina Jolie movies. But I they are a strict no-no to me, as most of them contains an unbearable amount of Hollywoopd propaganda. Movies such as Salt and In the Land of Blood and Honey are perfect examples.

I doubt her movies contain more propaganda than you usually do.
Maleficent looks pretty dark. Surprised to see it was made by Disney/is a kids film. Jolie looks pretty evil on the poster.

Since Hollywood is very closely linked to politics (much closer than most think), I wouldn't discount the propaganda in the movies...
There's a reason typical hollywood movies or its awards are working the way they are. Any dissenting opinions will either never find a producer or certainly will never get an oscar. The establishment can't have that.
