Kingdom of Heaven (2005) by Ridley Scott - an epic film about the Crusades in Jerusalem in the Middle Ages. Make sure to find the Director's cut though, because it is far, far better than the theatrical release version of the film. "The Hunt"

Saw this movie last year, definitely one of my favorites ever. Excellent performance by Mikkelsen and really cool premise. |

Has anyone watched Filth? My friend has recommended this movie to me.  A bag full of hatred and disgust. But the book is much more horrible. I have started this movie 3 or 4 times, but have never gotten that far into it. He is a good actor, but the accents are so thick that you really have to listen closely if you want to understand what they are saying. I would almost recommend using subtitles to watch this movie. |

I just watched Midnight In Paris with Owen Wilson and Rachel Mcadams. Owen Wilson is a writer in visiting Paris with his fiancé Mcadams and every night at midnight he goes for a walk and gets picked up in a car from the 1920's and it takes him to the time when Hemmingway was living there and he hangs out with him and Picasso and others of the "lost Generation." It was pretty enjoyable.
