surprised no one has mentioned it yet, but has anyone seen guardians of the galaxy? i haven't seen a marvel movie in a long time, because i haven't found any of them to be that interesting.. but i like guardians of the galaxies' style and theme. i like the interstellar sci fi shit with weird looking characters and quirky humor.

people keep saying it's something like this generation's star wars.. and the box office numbers do indicate that. i think 44% of the audience was female too.. that's the highest for a marvel film. i might see it.

my favorite two are the dark knight rises and watchmen. i can't get into action movies unless the storyline is interesting or thought provoking. actually, i could.. but only if the theme were less mundane than most comic book stories. i like guardians because it's sci-fi ish.

ha, i also liked john carter.. did anyone else enjoy that movie?

Both of those are great. TBH I didn't have much of an expectation about Watchmen because I had heard nothing of it before. I really liked that movie.

John Carter was a pleasant surprise for me. I never expected much fun out of it but somehow it was worthwhile.

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Se7en, and Fightclub are all really great movies.

Also anything with Robin Williams.  Cry

Im a lot into movies like Cube and the other ones Hypercube and Cube Zero, movies that mindfuck you and you don't know whats going on, sometimes not even at the end there is a final conclusion. I enjoyed The Mist even tho is was shitty rated by critics. Im not really into the super underground alternative movies.

Yeah I liked John Carter, never understood why it got so slated by the critics.

Not really watched any movies for a while, looking forward to Sin City 2 getting released.

That movie is pretty funny.   It was kind of repetitive after the 1st and 2nd parts.

Horrible Bosses is another funny movie.   They are coming out with a sequel soon.   I'm sure that one will be hilarious too.

Entourage (the movie) is in post production.   I am anxious to see that one when it comes out because I used to love the show
