I do not think so at least at this point of time. Facebook just recently banned any ads relating to cryptocurrencies. And now it will launch its own cryptocurrency. it will be contradictory. The news source maybe wrong friend. But one thing is sure that many countries or firms are realizing the importance and relevance of cryptocurrency.

They banned it but it takes for the links etc.. Or promotions or sponsored post that we always see a crypto ico means it was a good project or a legal one in my own understanding. I do not think that this may be true because Facebook was acting against such events. I do not need the extra money for such a company that ICO do. If this is the right news, the only thing I can think of is a project to use as a payment method. This is possible if they want to switch to advertising sales in their own currency, but I do not believe that such a thing can be done just for profit.
