wow what happened to the no re-entries and late registration? lol just on the 8th u told me u guys will not make tourneys with re-entries and late reg

That was specifically for our 10 credit freeroll.  We are experimenting with a variety of options.  Some will have rebuys and late registration, others will not.  We will have a lot of options for everyone.  Thank you for your comments not serp.

lol what that was for the 10 chip freeroll? lol what ever if u gonna make it rebuy u should lower min amount of players to start tourney i bet the tourney today doesnt run with the 30 min players

You are most likely correct that it won't run with 30 players today, but we will get there and continue to provide a great environment for our players.  You must remember for every player that doesn't want late registration or rebuys, there is another player that does!  Our goal is to provide an option for everyone and we will get there.  We also appreciate your comments, questions, concerns and criticisms.  Thank you.

I like the site, but these aren't guarantees at all.
If you don't want to risk it then don't have the tournament.

Putting up "guarantees" where the minimum players is 3/4ths of the guarantee WITH REBUYS is just silly.

Now I understand how you can offer a 100BTC guaranteed tournament. It will never happen.

Its not that I don't think these size tournaments aren't possible. I think its very possible, but I think your intent is to just put the tournaments up with some absurd number of minimum players and then you don't care whether they run or not.

TheJacob, we are just getting started and in it for many years to come.  We wanted to make sure all systems and setup was running optimally which it is.  Soon we will have many options, guarantees, rebuys, no re-buys, 1,000 gtd's with no minimum players but we have to experiment, get feedback, learn and try to deliver the best gaming experience to the bitcoin community.  Many people expect a website to come out and be perfect from day one, but that is not the way it works.  Every website undergoes constant improvements, upgrades changes and we have you all to thank for helping us through it with your feedback.  Also, the 100 BTC GTD will happen, we can assure you of that when the time is right.  We appreciate your feedback

The fee for today's tournament is 11% and tomorrow's is 14% Shocked.  No site, btc or regular, has fees that high.  The main btc site charges 5%.

Anybody notice the security theatre this site uses when you click on wallet? "secure.betcoinpoker.com" doesn't do anything, no SSL whatsoever.
https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=betcoinpoker.com so far this is the worst site I've ever seen. Better use this site with a VPN and hope the VPN provider isn't monitoring traffic to steal your wallet o' winnings and deposits.

moni3z thank you for your comment.  When you click “Wallet” from www.betcoinpoker.com it takes you to “www.betcoinpoker.com/wallet”. It does not take you to: “secure.betcoinpoker.com” as this is an entirely different website which has nothing to do with the “www.betcoinpoker.com” user experience. The only information we show through the www version on the wallet page is your username and email if you choose to even use an email.

Our security features make it impossible to steal your wallet/bitcoins and having an SSL would do nothing to change that.  We have spent a tremendous amount on security and website protection.  Our team has developed the security features for some fairly large mainstream gaming websites and used aspects of security employed by leaders in the btc and ltc community.

We are unsure what your intention is, but we certainly invite you to login to BetcoinPoker.com and BetcoinCasino.com and experience what we have to offer.

My intention is to find a casino site where my logins won't be stolen and wallet emptied, because everything is being transferred in cleartext :)
"secure.betcoinpoker.com" is called from betcoinpoker.com/wallet (not encrypted, no authentication to prevent MITM)
http://secure.betcoinpoker.com/Embedded/js/ChangePassword.js
http://secure.betcoinpoker.com/Embedded/js/DepositWithdraw.js

It would be trivial to implement TLS1.1+ or even SSL3 like basic, standard webmail sites do (and this forum) so why not do it? One of your customers is going to get their wallet cleaned out when they use the casino over wifi at an airport or hotel then come on here and cry your site is insecure. If you don't know how to do it sign up to Cloudflare and use their SSL/TLS stack.

Thank you for your follow up and we certainly know how to do it.  It's interesting you bring up Cloudflare because very early on we used Cloudflare but they couldn't even protect us against DDoS attacks effectively.  It was a painful experience being brought down by DDoS attacks but no player's btc was ever at risk.  We then had to hire a team in house to handle it as well as security support.  We are constantly testing our security internally and externally and will continue to invest in the best protection.  We thank you very much for pointing this out.

We invite you to come give us a try.  We will give you 10 chips for the poker room, 10 chips for the casino as well as 5 free spins at our 3D slots.  Please let us know.  Thank you.

On another note, congratulations to today's 10 Chip Freeroll winners!
