Too many damn wallets! Can't trust the cloud... storing Altcoins offline?

Hi, how does one redeem altcoins offline from paper wallets?

I managed to locate this site:

Then created a working test address for Peercoin as an example.

I know this has been covered extensively for Bitcoin, but the Altcoin clients don't allow to import private keys? How are coins redeemed back into the blockchain/online wallet?
