So we have huge bag-holders in the 30 range, right?

That tells me we're gonna move to that range quickly - 2-3 days.

It's not going to jump to $10000. Sorry. But dream if you want to. All I have left now is a KNC Titan which is shit. Part of it breaks on a weekly basis, and KNC are so strapped for cash that they can't RMA their broken hardware. This is my major loss. I just realised that my billion mooncoins are actually only worth a few hundred bucks at the moment.

I actually think crypto is pretty doomed, except perhaps for bitcoin. There are too many alts, too much greed. I got into crypto because I was greedy, and now I'm paying the price. My total losses (mainly by buying a KNC Titan) are in the region of $15000. I've made nothing back.

So I'm sure there are some people out there who get rich in crypto. But be careful how you dream. It's gambling. And if you dream of bitcoin being worth a fortune then great, but it might not. It might be worth a few dollars next year if people decide its not actually that secure, and there are other payment mechanisms which can do the same thing better. It may well go the way of Beenz. I'm just saying.

Anyway. Once my KNC Titan either dies or is unable to pay its electricity bills I'm leaving crypto for good. I've had enough. And I don't have faith in it being secure after today.

Vlad I'm sorry to snap at you but you need to develop a bit of class and sensitivity. Only a complete dick says what you said earlier. I'm not saying you are one, but maybe you just don't think when you write stuff on forums. Try and put yourself in other people's mindsets when you say something. I'm almost certainly older than you, and I've learned not to write all sorts of crap online. I used to do it (not as badly as you just did) but I used to email people in a dickish way because when you write stuff online it doesn't seem the same as talking face to face.

I'm just saying, be careful because you might really hurt someone who is already upset and hurting. And what's the point of that?

I hope your $10000 dream comes true. But personally I think I have more chance of winning Miss teen USA than bitcoin being worth $10000 next year.

Goodnight all.

Sorry man, I thought you were just fudding cause who leaves crypto cause of one hack for a few hundred bucks.  I thought you were just trying to scam people.

Sorry for you loss.  I almost lost $7,000 to BFL last year.  Thank God PayPal got my money back and instead I just put it all on BTC at around $130.

When BTC is cheap it's better to buy actual BTC instead of the mining gear.  With $15K you would be considered a Bitcoin high roller.

Don't give up - you will see that BTC is gonna sky rocket next year and it's not too late if you can buy yourself a few Bitcoins and just hold on.

Good luck!

Your reply to my post was unbelievably nasty, inhuman and heartless. I want nothing to do with you. Please refrain from commenting on any of my posts or communicating with me in any way. Thank you.

What?

I hope you're of the female gender cause your feelers get hurt a bit too easily.

You made a mistake, you're young, don't give up on Crypto like a sissy and you'll recover and make a lot more back when Bitcoin jumps over $10,000 this next year.

Cheers!

I totally understand how you feel. Quit crypto if you feel you must (I've considered it myself - it's f**king brutal sometimes), but don't throw anything away. Don't be that guy searching a dump for a usb or hard drive in 5 years time.

Also, I hear Cryptsy is looking into this. You might get a result of some sort.

He did not recompile it, as it seems.
Just check the file you have and what is also on mooncoin.rocks with http://code.kliu.org/hashcheck and compare to this:

http://web.archive.org/web/20140704123359/http://mooncoin.info/ (archive-version of deaconboogie's site)
http://web.archive.org/web/20140705185938/http://download.mooncoin.info/ (compare the results of CRC, MD4/MD5 and SHA-checks)

So the wallet on http://mooncoin.rocks/wallet-download seems to be still the original one, made by deaconboogie.

too much coins stolen  Cry

Please contact cryptsy with all details to wich addresses your mooncoins have been transferred to.
If they are able to find a cryptsy account to an address they can freeze it.
Please don't give up, we will try everything.

We have to find out why this all could happen to update the new wallet version.

Perhaps cryptsy will think about a blockchain rollback now, we will see.

Hi redjedievolution I have been the victim of a large (over a billion) theft too. I was wondering - would it be worth trying to make a list of all hacked addresses and recipient addresses? We can try to gather evidence and track what has happened. I contacted cryptsy but no response yet.

Yes, and to find out what happened, it would also be nice if we could find out what all the affected users had in common (operating system, behind a router or not, using team viewer, wallet encrypted?, download of other coinwallet before the theft, download of any other software to that machine where the affected wallet was, etc....)
