Any EU pools about?

Cheers

Our EU mining server is also situated in Amsterdam Smiley

For those on the other side of the pond we'll also have a Texas, US, node.
Haha, leuke naam voor de server "hash addicts". Iets met vooroordelen en bevestiging Smiley

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

OP, you better have a working Windows QT on launch, for this coin's sake.

This will go bad real fast if you dont.

Hope you see this and comment.

I've been very upfront about this. I'm not a Windows developer and have had no end of trouble getting Qt to compile, despite reading every tutorial on the matter. I have one person who will be handing the OSX build and a couple of offers for a Windows build.

The issue is that I am not releasing the source code before launch because of pre-mining concerns. This is what killed several coin recently.

I have no doubt that a Windows Qt build will be available very, very soon after the source is released.

Just hoping this won't end up with huge fail like dubstepcoin ....

So only 1 hour and 18 minutes ... we'll see Smiley

I'm all for this coin but the lack of a windows QT.. set sail for fail.

Is it possible to set up my miner, that it will start automatically on a pool if the coin is launched?
Because I'm not at home up to tomorrow and don't want to miss the launch.

Thanks!

Yes, set up the batch file as normal, then add a failover server for the coin your currently mining (eg doge), once the mooncoin pool comes online, it will then start mining moon rather than which ever other coin you set up.
Yes this is the best strategy.
In your .bat: set your primary pool first, and after that add a few backup servers. The order you place them will prioritize them in CGMiner, and CGMiner will keep trying them if they are dead while it is using one of your pools that's lower in priority. When it notices a pool higher in priority is online again > it switches, and keeps doing this till your primary pool is back again. Works really good.

IMPORTANT! use cgminer 3.3.1 as this is the last version that has faster reconnection speeds so works best with multiple pools set-up, and is a MUST for the autoswitching altcoin pools.

If you are mining a specific coin (like Moon for instance), and you're mining at launch when the change of a pool failing is quite high, you can always set up a pool like multipool or middlecoin as one of the final backup pools.

Happy mining! TO TEH MOEN Tongue

+1  People need to stop whining about the wallet and just wait.

Could anyone be so kind to tell me what I should put the share difficulty on on multipool?

Kinda curious about this myself, first time using a multipool and not a specific mining pool, so I'm not sure

I still feel like this coin is going to fork all over the place because of all the pools ready to go.

No windows QT on launch = CAT coin launch, forks etc.

The OP would do well to delay this launch momentarily until a windows wallet is up.

Just sayin'.

I agree. Windows wallet should be ready before launch.
