the first 50 Blocks all gone to this addresse 2DkNHNQh38ZyMsMraPMvvkbtSP5rKefVdA  Shocked

looks like premined  Roll Eyes
what if its the adress of a Multipool wallet which pays everyone who mined there? Has anyone checked that? If so, maybe there was no premine...

It was a clusterfuck. How the fuck did multipool get the source a full half hour before anyone else ? Because OP was mining there I think. He had posted about multipools server getting hammered and had stats to prove it while we were all standing there holding our dicks in our hands.

Reason these coins have problems on start up is that everyone with super-farms just waits for a new coin to be released, and then they switch over to it and mine the shit out of it, leaving everyone else in the dust and increasing the difficulty in a short time.

Needs to be some kind of limit on how many hashes people can mine so everyone has a chance

1599 blocks where mined at diff = 1 BEFORE the actual launch  Roll Eyes

http://moonchain.info/chain/Mooncoin?count=500

they took this down, do you have a screenshot as proof?

PM me with it if you will as it will get lost in this friggin thread.

sorry, I was wrong, the first true block was actually mined at 18:12:14 UTC that's 12:14 after the official launch.

BUT while some few fellas were able to mine the hell out of this coin in the very first minutes, everybody else were struggling with non-working pools (no active demons) or the under heavy load multipool.

Folks on here were successfully mining with multipool I think at about 18:15 UTC, although it was unreliable. I had 4 instances of CGMiner running all pointing to multipool. At about 18:15 two of them were mining and the other two were not connecting. So could depend if you were lucky enough to get connected early on also to get some easy blocks with a smaller amount of miners to share with.

Ok, P2pool code checks out, out 1st block:
http://moonchain.info/block/4be1dfb9748887e4c09fe048ac0c832194111455daae48dcbc924e214f72d230
Moon code merged to main branch on my fork
https://github.com/Rav3nPL/p2pool-rav
Payout strategy: PPLNS, share valid up to 12hrs or 10 blocks (what is earlier). Pool share every 25 sec.
My 1% fee nodes (also seed nodes for this coin):
http://p2pool.gotgeeks.com:9664
http://rav3n.dtdns.net:9664
use moon address (payout address) as username

Current pool starts: 22.5MH/s, block ETA 4h

P2ppol payout is DIRECTLY from block, no scam possible Smiley

Happy mining!

We need a little more hash power there.  Mining for about 1 hr and nothing yet.  @ 300K another 30 minutes or so.

Everybody, mine p2pool, no way for a scam here Cool

START MINING NOW:
https://moon.suprnova.cc

Currently 0 % Fee, Stratum, Vardiff, everything you need.

Blocks have been found, frontend was a bit slow, everything is back to normal now.

I've turned off E-Mail confirmations, you can log-in directly.

https://moon.suprnova.cc

I would restart mining at your pool but i need to see my mined coins first. pool says "REVISED Daemon running, Blocks will be credited to you soon !"

still waiting for my blocks to be credited.
as of now it says "0 confirmed 0 unconfirmed"

Totally agree.  This could be a GREAT idea for a new coin.

Multipool hacked or defaced?

What the fuck. I'm seeing that too, minus the ads (Adblock I guess).

Lucky I already withdrew ~120k. I wonder if it was actually hacked/defaced or if they were trying to update the site during the Mooncoin launch? If so, they couldn't have picked a worse time.
