I can code, if interested to team up come forward. To the dev: if you need a hand PM me.
Good to know. Let's give the original dev a chance and see what his plans are (if any). But it looks like we have people willing to help (or even take over if it comes to that). I actually think this coin has a lot of potential.

whit so many people who wants to help, it would be a shame, let this coin die.. they want to help because they are holding a huge bag of mooncoins and want to dump them at a higher price than 1 satoshi, otherwise they wouldn't care.

1/4 6:30PM - Update on marketing efforts and team updates! What's next? Dev hasn't posted since Jan 3. Multiple people have publicly offered to help, and it doesn't seem like dev is much interested. I was willing to believe that this was an honest effort and he just had some back luck, but I'm starting to have my doubts. Doesn't seem like to the dev cares too much what happens to this coin anymore. And it's too bad. This coin has a great name and marketable angle. Buying at 1 satoshi, ANYthing that's done to raise awareness = pretty large profits. You can make 1000% returns if it could climb back to just 10 satoshis. Hell, if it reached the low price level doge is at right now, you'd be making 25x ROI. This should be a no-brainer. And it's totally do-able. This coin needs a facelift (new look and feel), better web site, and a community behind it. At this low price, this coin should be one of the most obvious investment vehicles in crypto. But an absent dev doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Yes I know you had to deal with a lot of trolls. So what. That's what happens when you launch a coin. If this is in any way a legit effort and not a get rich quick scam, then accept the help people are offering and make this coin into something. If you actually want to help join the #mooncoin-team channel on Freenode irc (Links are on the first post) and start contributing to projects or ideas that are being developed and worked on in there, The Dev has been around sporadically but he has had some unforeseen issues to deal with and should hopefully be back soon.

There is an active group working on mooncoin sites, promotion, etc. If you can use IRC, we're in #mooncoin-team on Freenode if you'd like to help.

So, where's the Dev? Theoretical Mooncoin with the current BTC price could be $0.02. Time for promotions of this coin.

I think this has nowhere to go but up because the price cannot be less than one satoshi. Bought over 30 mill. If it goes up one satoshi then it's 50% profit. Two would be doubling my money. ;-)

Seriously. People need to focus on the longer term and not just pump and dump. The coins that are still around in a few months will be trading higher because the entire market will have grown. Even the small ones will much more valuable as more people get onboard with crypto and more fiat flows into Bitcoin & the altcoins. This is just the tip of the iceberg, the earliest phases of mass adoption. As I've said before, an important part of this is letting people use Moon as a currency. CoinPayments.net is looking for votes on which altcoins to add to their payment processing system here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=397540They are likely to take the top 5 or so, so get in there and vote for Moon. Doesn't have to be #1 to succeed!
