any sugestions on a good pool?

I am extremely happy with MultiPool.us.  Payouts happen on time, no major service issues.

coinex.pw    Wink  they take the 2% fee
but you can directly sell any coin you mine for BTC or LTC

Have Fun

multipool.us is one of the worst. I immediately stopped mining with them when I noticed they pay less than 50% consistently.

They take 50% FEE?? F that.

Just created a wallet under Ubuntu, and it works:

created a directory in my home folder "mooncoin" and opened a terminal in it:

git clone git://github.com/realmooncoin/mooncoin

added needed dependencies:

sudo apt-get install qt4-qmake libqt4-dev build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev libssl-dev libdb++-dev libminiupnpc-dev

Then ran these from a terminal opened in the top-level Mooncoin folder I created which now contains build, doc, share, src, (etc).

qmake
make

Then you will finally have a mooncoin-qt executable file in the same folder when it's done compiling.

The download of Nocoin's Windows Wallet is still working: here

This is the exe I am using (still with Dogecoin logo  Shocked  Cool ): https://www.dropbox.com/s/85l421gu7k2gna6/mooncoin-qt.zip

I am pretty sure nocoin's wallet is legit, but please take suitable precautions before going to the Moon  Tongue

I PM'd the dev to update the Windows wallet link on the official page.

Good luck with that.  I don't think the dev is around anymore.

Nice orphanfest on bit34.com  Shocked

Cry   I was just going to recommend this pool. Acccording to my calculations I get something like 80% of expected coins, which is much better than in other Mooncoin (and Dogecoin  pools too - usually 50%  Angry ).  Maybe it is even more, because I checked only several hours and reward is random. But these orphans - it is crazy. There was big traffic, I think they are not used to it on mooncoin pools in past weeks... Maybe this is the reason...

Hey you guys know that you are looking at a 6 billion coin dump on your 21 billion coin total. That's 28% of existing coins mined today.

Carrreffffuullll with the price. Splat within 12 hours.

Then the multipools will pull away and the dif will be so high that they won't be back and you will have to hard fork like CAT.

Unless -- there is one chance. That everyone keeps mining at the same pace even with higher dif and people keep buying $100k
of coins per day? There is a chance... heh.

I'm not trying to make the price go down or FUD or anything. It's a legit observation and sometimes I share them.
Just a warning that's all.

If everyone saves their coins and keeps mining then moon....will be interesting to watch.
