Its not a comparison between bounty and airdrops because this airdrops was much cheaper and easy to get you have to sign up or refer, fill up the form and wait for the token to arrive and listed on any exchange for you to sell. There are some legit airdrops but it was very few only and if you got one you could have a good amount of free money there.

I have my own airdrops app, i found daily 50-60 airdrops in which only 10-15 airdrops are real while rest are scam. It's difficult to identify which airdrop is real or which is scam? Airdrops provide little rewards, but it just take short period of time to complete (5 mins). After getting rewards, sometimes the price of token hit. So thats why there are so many airdrops!

Mostly people mining for your data with a few legit projects sprinkled in.  Just stay away from KYC and use all new emails and fake names for registering.  Never use real information.  The scam percentages are incredibly high and there is no way you can avoid them all.

Airdrop Programs happens just to have an announcement to the ICO to promote and gather participants to join in there community. Just a warning though that some airdrop program is misleading and can be phising site wherein they will get your data just to hack your account.
