Hi,
Could anyone tell me the first version number for coinbin?
I can not find the progression of the versions in GitHub and need a prior version for another coin that I am involved with.
The previous version was wiped when I downloaded 1.3 and realised to late that the new version will not be compatible with the coin than I am involved with.
Thank you,
H

Apparently, the first version was 1.1 (It's possible that they didn't make a release on the GitHub before) which got released on March 2015.

My latest version released. I am calling it "Bitcoin Fork Tools" Here is the URL: http://www.motelmaya.com/BCH/BCH.htmlThe biggest improvement is (drums..more drums) OFFLINE SIGNING for Bitcoin Cash - Happy Happy Joy Joy!!! . There is some limited support for Bitcoin Gold...but it is buggy. I managed to redeem some from an old paper wallet though after I cleaned out the BTC & BCH. If you are going to reuse the private key for that address, I would just ignore the Bitcoin Gold for now.

When the transaction is signed for bitcoin cash it makes a hash of the inputs which is incorporated somehow into the signed tx. This was part of the replay protection. However this information is not necessarily available after creating the transaction. For instance if you got the inputs, created a transaction, then moved that transaction to another computer for signing. You need the inputs a second time for signing. Bitcoin Core only needs the inputs for creating the transaction, not for signing. Now the site allows you to save a file with that necessary information. You can move the needed file with your transaction to the other computer for signing if you are using a 2 computer security system. I am pretty sure the OutCast3k coinbin site is safe. It won't sign Bitcoin Cash HODL transactions though.

I wasn't referring to coinb.in tool but txid.io tool which is a fork of OutCast3k's coinbin there is no info about the creator (on the site) or its Ann on bctalk forum, it won't let me create double spend (unsigned raw) tx without inputting private key

It had a few bug fixes and fixed a couple of problems. Their HODL stuff doesnt work though, so I incorporated their fixes into my site. I can't find anything on it on Github. Don't use that that double spend page, I absolutely don't trust it. You will notice I didn't use it in my site. BTW, I created a double spend by hand a few days ago when a 256 byte transaction refused to go through even though it had a $17 fee. I wasn't able to send the double spend to any of the miners without a duplicate tx error though. I finally did a child pays for parent tx using the change. Cost me another $72 fee to get it to confirm.

What should I replace with in order for my Private key (WIF key) to start with the capital letter Q - the wallet return an invalid private key message Tnx, H.

Recommended fee is also looking WAY better than the (exaggerated) one from Earn.com https://talkimg.com/images/2023/05/14/blob6c3abcb30b814a51.pnghttps://talkimg.com/images/2023/05/14/blobf12d16364c63c0b8.png

If you're developing an altcoin, asking this is unacceptable - you should know better! The correct private key version is probably , according to the source code (address version + 128).

Ouch! quite a nasty remark - even the most educated was once an idiot! To answer you on your statement, no I am not developing an altcoin, I am just interested in all the projects that I find interesting. Anyway, I do appreciate you taking the time to reply to my question, I did however eventually found what I was looking for. Hopefully your reply will also be of some assistance to someone else in the future. H.

I have tested multisig on BCH. You have to do signatures in the correct order. Also after you sign a transaction, copy/paste the signed tx back up and sign it with the second signature. It took me a few minutes to figure that part out. I very strongly suggest testing this out first with very small amounts until you are sure you know how to do everything properly.

Okay, I figured out the problem. The code is fine, it is txid.io site for loading BTG inputs and broadcasting signed BTG transactions. Their block chain seems to be running way behind. I am guessing about 3-4 weeks. So if you are just patient, you can use it to get your BTG.
