I wonder if there is a marketcap of bitcoin gambling world. I mean how much people spend on gambling with bitcoin for all 2013. That would have been great. Also a profit of all websites that allows people to gamble with bitcoin. I am pretty sure that number does not exists but that would have been one huge number ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) People do seem to spend a whole lot on gambling for some reason , probably that is the only thing they can't do with fiat other than some special places.

I'd say gambling seems to be one of more frequent uses but I'd also say charity and illicit substances is also one to not be forgotten. This is all just speculation on my part.

that's right lol I was gonna ask you why you say that but after giving it some thought I suspect you could be somewhat right. People to go out to eat and drink with their Bitcoins so it really is possible.

People buy physical bitcoins with their bitcoins, and not much else. Nothing I've listed on http://fs.thebutterzone.com has ever sold, for months.

They hoard them, gamble them, loose them, send some to their friends or get sc.ammed
You can buy anything in bitcoins now but most people keep them to sell them at a profit or gamble them away

I've bought all kinds of things... many, many gifts, movie tix, books, groceries, home goods. Mostly via gift cards on gyft dot com. There is a local food delivery service that accepts BTC too, ordered from them a couple times.

My recent studies show ( BS , I did not do any studies at all ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ) People use it to change it to $ and back to BTC do it over and over again until either they are rich and don't want to do more or they lost enough to get out. That and of course gambling. These 2 are the highest numbers of bitcoins used otherwise purchasing something with btc is not yet popular enough to call bitcoin a currency , it is still just a commodity.
