So on bitcoincharts, I would go to each day and download the minute data and then consolidate.  Thanks for the suggestion - it may take a long time (since they don't let you download to large of a batch at once) but it is a solution!  Smiley

I'm not sure to understand what you meant there, what have "days" to do with what I suggested?

A trade level file contains info about all trades that were completed on the exchange.
Bitcoincharts allows to download the file all at once, google for "bitcoincharts api csv".

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I was wondering, is it possible to download the historical data in a file ?

I've been asked this before and am planning to add an option to export data as csv, just hadn't had a chance to build it

This site is Grin  amazing  Grin, thank you for all your great work BJORNW!

I am also looking for the historical swap data, it is not available on bitcoincharts... have you had the chance to make it available?

I love the service.  But I also think it leaks data.

I like bfxdata but I'm unable to get the graph(s) for the BTC/USD relationships. All I see is the little spinning dial and it never resolves to a graph. All the other graphs work fine. Please advise?

It has to do with BFXdata not being SSL (https) and tradingview is. I'll fix it in the next few days. You could try using a different browser (chrome, firefox) for the time being.

Hey Bjorn

I would appreciate it if you would read my post I wrote about using the data your site provides here. I think you will understand my point of view within the first few sentences because of the shortcomings of your site in what I've found to be my personal requirement for this sort of data.

I'd appreciate a response from you, either on this site, on reddit, or a message to me on Tradingview. Cheers m8

Could you check if you still experience the issue you described? I have added SSL to BFXdata.com. You may have to clear your web browser's cache. Please let me know if it is resolved.

Hello, you incorrectly have DASH Listed as Darkcoin on your website (using  the abbreviation DRK).

Darkcoin was officially re-branded to DASH - here is the announcement.
https://dashtalk.org/threads/official-statement-on-rebranding-to-dash.4297/

I believe the new abbreviation is DASH. Would be great if you could update your website to reflect the change.

I wonder why I found your site today and not much-much earlier. Thanks a lot for your service!

I have two questions:
(1) You do not explain/write out the abbreviations you use (why?). I cannot deduce the meaning of "volex". I expect "vol" means volatility. But what means "ex" then? Exchange? Can you help me out what volex is and how it is calculated?
(2) Presenting long vs. short swap information is a great idea. FOr the short run (1-24hours) you present the ratio of short vs. long pretty nicely. For the long run, however, you add long and short swaps to one figure and chart the sum. This is kind of meaningless to me. Could you provide the charts with information on short AND long swaps instead of their sum?

Your chart for Long Swaps vs Short Swaps (opened Hourly) vs BTCUSD price (shorts expressed in USD equivalent) is not showing any BTC swaps.

BTC and USD swap 1 hour charts are not working. Can see swaps being taken but the graph and numbers are gone on the 1 hour chart.
