You need one post with several sentences then wait 4 hours, then you are free to post in other sections.

I can imagine this forum has had to deal with a lot of spam as of recent due to the popularity of bitcoin. I've been a lurker for a long time and have only seen a little bit of that. Most of what I've seen is some shills trying to sucker people into investing money in fraudulent companies. As a result, it's completely expected for them (the admins and long-time users of this forum) to have some restrictions in place to keep the riff raff out.

Making a post of a couple sentences is not unusual. I have seen this in several forums in my travels. Its a fair feature that can replace things like captchas(sp?) and is a good way to get people introduced to a forum and maintain activity.

Anyway back to the coins!!

I was a lurker for a bit and just joined, a lot of forums have there own rules, they need to make sure that you aren't here to flood the forums with nonsense
