Just let dumpers dump. Coinedup is good it will distribute all coins among miners/traders on low prices before VEL appear on chinese exchanges. So dumpers couldn't dump there.

Can be many factors. Just recently I found out while I gpu and cpu mined with a quad core cpu with 2 gpus, I was running out of system resources and the "Share is above target" came up. I had 3 cpu cores mining and I changed it to 2 cores to mine, it fixed it. Another time, I had the intensity too high and/or worksize. You just got to troubleshoot whats the possible cause you think is causing it and try it. To others out there, what are good setting to mine on VEL? I'm currently using I=11 and W=64 with 2x 6970's and 2x 5870's. I=18 was hashing fast, but shares was coming fast enough. Also, same with W=256, seems like 64 works better. Is vcc.altexc.com the only pool mining?

Yes, until 250,001, when it will be less. Seems like the vcc.altexc.com pool estimates are really off for how many coins are going to be mined. Maybe 100 times off.

currently with WU 2450kh/s You would mine 448.05 coins per day which makes it not profitable at all. I guess everyone will dump and move to new coin. Price will not increase because even with current price, people who were mining it first are getting sick ammounts of money well done!

LOL It's not profitable at all at the moment. For a coin being rarer than LTC and 3x more than BTC, the going price rate is sad in comparison at coinedup... Pools don't seem to get their estimation on coin output right and/or adjust for rewards changes, that doesn't help and misleads people, when they are only making 1/10th to 1/100th of the estimate, that's nothing close to the estimations they show on the pools...LOL

Yeah I just find out about this coin when it hit coinedup and I'm scratching my head why I was not mining it.. Look, for first 5000 blocks with 2450kh/s and 2 diff(I don't know how it was while people were mining it) You would make 350$ a day with current price...

Only the early miners will be making the profits and all the late miner are losing profits or making minimal profits at the current exchange rate. More like $35 than $350, those estimations are way off on the mining pool for coin output per day.

I'm better off mining LOT at the moment than VEL...LOL
