and how can I seen whether or not I have edited my own post ?

During the 5 minutes after the post you can edit it without any display change
If a modification is made after that then you'll see the date being underlined
Hover with the mouse and you'll see when the last modification was made

Example: This post was modified after 5 minutes after being posted

This one was never modified (or within 5 minutes, you can't know)
