Woah, that's awesome !! A Clash of Clans tourny  Grin Thanks akamit & zakero !
I played that for a little, some time ago. I have uninstalled it from my phone.
I'll gladly participate if I can recover that account with my stats & characters.  Cheesy
We will be very happy to get you in our T#2. Only some spots are available, get in now.
If you can't recover your old account then just create a new one. Play some battle as practice and then you are good to go. Old warriors can rule the battleground.

I have to admit I have never heard of this game until now, it looks so popular even in parts of Asia. Never much of a gamer but didn't realize how far behind I am with developments. I'll sign up and play a bit... but probably too late to join this event properly. I'll keep an eye out for future ones though akamit. You guys have screenshots of your match ups and all?
It's not too late to join, still some spots are open. Just install the game, play some practice battle before you participate in the war.
We have our T#1 champion in this tournament also, so make sure you have practiced well.

OK, just popped in to ask a few questions because I know my kids enjoy this game and they are more than eager to join.

~ Why the age restriction? <This is not gambling related and Clash of Clans is aimed at age 13+> We open Bitcoin use for everyone, no matter what their age are, but we exclude them based on age, when we play games?

~ Will this be a on-going event or just a once off event?

~ Will you open this up for younger players in the future, if you can validate their age? <More Age appropriate clan?>

Let's start with this, because these kids are over excited to join this now and they are even more interested in Bitcoin now that they see that gaming can supplement their pocket money.  Wink <Great method to increase Bitcoin adoption>
1. Current tournament is not the main event. It's just a promo, but the rules are the same in the promo and main event.
The Main event is like a gambling of one kind because participant will pay an entry fee and will fight for the prize. In this case age restriction is very important.
But as this tournament is free to join and a promo, I think your kids can register if you can make sure the tournament is legal under applicable local laws and regulations

We offered promos (T#1 and T#2) because we wanted to know as follows.
    a. Community's acceptance
    b. Demand
    c. Participants need to understand rules & regulation before the main event.
    d. Participants need to accustomed to the way the tournament will take place

2. The first main event will determine whether we will continue or not. The demand will speak out.
This is the second tournament we are organizing free of cost for participants. Frankly speaking, there is a limit on our pocket and we can't afford free tournaments on regular basis.
But whenever I will have some extra funds then I may offer a tournament for my beloved community, that's a promise. And another way is, if we get any sponsor then we may host free tournaments.
I will reach out different companies and request them to sponsor a tournament, and I'm not sure what will be the result.

3. As said above kids may join in promo/free tournaments if the local laws allow them to do so.
But I will restrict kids, when we will get a sponsor of casino, sports betting or any such companies where age matters.

You can ask your kids to apply if the local laws allow them and they can follow my rules in OP.

About two hours left before registration closes.
About three hours left until battle starts.

Get in now for action!

Ah, that is good news. They already told their friends about this and everyone is keen to join. I just need to help them to register with the forum and to setup their wallets etc. I think I will have everything ready for the next round, but I am just glad that someone is taking the initiative to launch something like this.

I have not seen kids so exited about Bitcoin for a long time and I think the sponsorship should come from Crypto currency companies. Have you approached any of them yet? The gambling sites will be interested, if they can use this in the Sports betting platforms.

Still we don't have 8 participants to start the tournament.

Now it seems to me that the demand for this tournament is very low and I've to make a decision.
If this is how the tournament progresses then I will not be able to organize any tournaments in future, either free or buy-in. Here comes the FULL STOP!

One of the Sports Bet Company Sponsored Tournament #3, we were in talk last few days. But I'm going to say NO to that company and apologize.

I'm sorry to announce that I'm not going to organize any more tournaments after tournament #2 successfully concluded.

Thanks to the participants of T#1 and T#2 for your support and patience. Tournament #2 will start as soon as we have all 8 participants and it will be the last tournament.

Well, this is very unfortunate because a lot of kids were very exited to play for prizes. I think the age restriction of 18 put a bit of a damper on the turnout. Most people who would click on this, would be the younger generation. This could have been huge, if it was opened to younger people too.

Give us some feedback on the tournament results, because we are curious to know who won.  Wink

This tournament, sadly, seems to have died. We have eight people signed up, more younger people that want to join, and the leader isn’t starting the tournament. I will look into getting one started as I have some connections at various bitcoin gaming sites and will try to get it sponsored

This tournament will not die until I finish the tournament #2 successfully.
Where do you see that we have 8 participants? Are you counting this guy blockbusterkings also? Who has applied on 18th and then vanished...

Regarding brock7826, I kept him aside for now. I don't know why my sixth sense is not letting me accept this guy.
If we get 2 more solid participants then this guy is out. And if we get one more solid participant then this guy gets a chance.

Nowhere did you state you had the ability to deny anyone you wanted. You issued an open tournament. Eight people joined. And now you are changing the rules. Run the tournament with the eight people that joined

If this is how you think then you should read the tournament rules again, especially the last line. And if you want I can add the new rule now > "I have the right to accept/decline any applicant"

blockbusterkings not even came online since he/she applied and you guys are counting him/her as a participant, even after I'm showing you the fact.
He didn't even provide a btc address, said later he will provide. But after 4 days where is he/she?

and about brock7826, I have already given my explanation in my last post.

I'm sorry to announce that I'm not going to organize any more tournaments after tournament #2 successfully concluded.

Hello, akamit!
So sad to see that you're not going to organize any more tournaments. I've been playing Clash Royale since it launched.
I read about this tournament and was really excited to join, but at May 18th I was busy, so I didn't apply to it. I was hoping to see a tournament #3.

You can check the tournament #1 result here > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3807951.msg37514550#msg37514550

I don't know yet if I will continue or not.

For your concern about kids.
If the tournament is Buy-In then kids are not allowed.
If the tournament is free, but sponsored by a gambling site then kids are not allowed.
If the tournament is free, but sponsored by me or any other company which is not related to gambling then kids are ALLOWED.

If there is a tournament which is sponsored by anyone or any company then the prize will be as offered by the company.
Tournament #3 is already sponsored by a gambling company, but for tournament #2 I'm very disappointed. That's why I'm thinking to say sorry to that company.

I'm sorry to announce that I'm not going to organize any more tournaments after tournament #2 successfully concluded.
