Namecoin maybe? But no one really takes it seriously as a crypto coin.

I'm not really sure. What is 3rd largest by market cap?

Ripple and MasterCoin are not even crypto coins.

You would have to go down to peercoin to get the next one, that coin is considered broken by some of us so who know. I really doubt it will become "THE third place" coin. But who knows.
