is the bytom algo not similar to scrypt? if so i ask team red to get a party on I also belive bitmain has more powerful chips buth chose to use slower ones to maximize their profits... Let all get on the train with gpu's while we can ;-) gpu's wil always be able to mine any asic algo just not as fast in power usage. Bytom pool lis so far: http://miningpoolstats.stream/bytomthe asic they sel is no asic lol: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3870665.0 gpu's wil murder this algo ^^^^ This 100% They got rid of some unused hardware that was probably sitting on their shelves. Got to give it to them, they're smart. Even creating a minable coin to move their garbage hardware, they're pure evil. Anyone who bought an ASIC expecting returns should've known better.

-url option doesn't seem to work well. miner tries to connect uupool even if I specify antpool by -url option.

Anyone running the miner successfully on GTX1070 cards or above? Keep running into < unknown error%!(EXTRA string=xxx) > on SMOS.

Any way to find the setup for gpu mining this? I would love to test it out.
You can load the miner on a linux box and run it. I converted one of my SMOS miners over to it. The link to http://uupool.cn/course/btm is not working - can you load it on some other site for download to help us out? Thank you in advance The site seems to be working now - anything special to do for installing the miner ... youtube video you've seen in the past (obviously not this miner but a how to .. otherwise I can check .. just hoping you had a better resource than random looking around. I downloaded and extracted the miner on (smos/Ubuntu) wget http://7fvi19.com1.z0.glb.clouddn.com/btm-miner-1.0.tar.bz2Changed the address.txt file to my wallet. I killed the miners that were running. (SMOS Only) Ran the miner. Watch the performance 'tail -fn 1 /var/tmp/miner.log' I had some help with killing the miners. I had to create a bash script to do that. If you are running SMOS then let me know and I will show you how. Your help would be highly appreciated. I have SMOS ... just not great with Linux - but can follow instructions. By the way, the pool site has an ISO you can download for a Ubuntu Linux boot. It comes to a MinerOS prompt with a login .. no idea what the login is. Interesting. http://mineros.cn/#/dashboard

Same error with 1080ti... Sounds like a memory thing. Have you tried allocating more virtual memory or adding more physical memory? regarding virtual memory... Linux so not sure how to do that or if they do that in linux

Did you have to up swap memory to make it work? I guess doing a swap file is similar to adding physical or virtual memory as compared to windows. If you did a swap file what size did you set? Or... if that wasn't it... what did you have to do to get it to work?
