The market is pausing after such a strong rally. The most important thing happened. People are now aware of MONA and I believe that the marketing campaign starting end of October will attract many new buyers. My personal objective is now 10$

Hi Guys, Any ideas why my actuak earnins can be almost twice lower than calculated via WTM? Hashing at 115 MH/s and got only 0.8 coin/day with suprnova I can't tell you why Suprnova performs badly like this (I had a similar experience) but I can tell you that i have not yet found a good reliable Mona pool anywhere. One of the biggest I found was asicminer.info and it consistently under quoted my hash-rate by 20-30%. It isn't my mining software because I use the same software to mine vertcoin on my own local P2Pool node and it reports my hash-rate on average to within 5% of my actual hash-rate. One personal theory is that Mona has a lot of attention because of its up-swing in price and also there are many new and inexperienced miners out there who got in late mining ETH, ZEC, etc who are now watching whattomine.com for the "next big thing". Pool operators know this and I think they are willing to exploit a sudden focus of attention to a coin not many people had payed attention to before and they are pretty much just "stealing" hash rate from people because they can underquote hash-rates and since many new Mona miners don't know what is normal they can get away with it. I think that if you want to mine Mona and you have 500mh/s or more you should just solo mine it. If you have less than that - use the same algo to mine vertcoin. It isn't currently as profitable but it has a pretty steady upward trend in price over the last months, whereas Mona has just had a sudden spike. I'm not denigrating Mona - I hope it continues to do well, but unfortunately, unless you live in Japan (or can speak Japanese) there just aren't any good options for Mona pools that I can find.

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL
I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

Isn't it possible that it's because of the latency? Are any of the pools near you? Some pools have definitely been having trouble with the newfound interest though. I find it hard to believe that /all pool operators/ are trying to exploit users, especially given I was a pool operator back in the day who ran my pool at a loss (1% bonus) to get more people to mine Monacoin.

Don't forget that Chinese traders are now using Japanese exchanges so China & Japan money may boost Mona.
