Do you have any competitors on the market now? What is your advantage comparing to them?

The only competitor to MONA in Japan is Bitcoin.
However, it has cheaper transaction costs than BTC and has blocks every 1.5 minutes.

Bitcoin will remain the "gold" digital currency while MONA has the potential to become a mainstream payment solution in Japan.
Mona is already used for payments in stores and online !

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

That's true because price again have entered in the zone from where some nice profit can be awaited in short term. We are going to see huge bounce back from altcoins in few days. Hard fork issue is going to be end once for all and then our times are starting. Mona my all time favorite for short to medium termed base.

I also think  with the Olympics in Japan coming in 2020 it will be a great accelerator for Monacoin in Japan but also around Asia.
Besides Mona is made to purchase things and not to speculate which is according to me the way a cryptocurrency should be

Actually I am not well informed about "Monacoin". Anybody please inform me. Thanks.

This is the only Japanese altcoin. Japan is the only country giving digital currencies a legal status as JPY

It's so funny when people talk about some coin being country specific.  One of the tenets of cryptocurrencies is that they are borderless.   I'll bet that 99% of businesses in Japan that accept Mona also accept, at the minimum, Bitcoin.  And outside of Japan probably no one accepts Mona.

The more country specific a coin is the less chance it has of going up in value.

I would disagree with you.
What 99% of coins lack is a strong community & ecosystem.
MONA has this and the network effect can then spread MONA over the world.
See it like JCB credit cards vs VISA.

And there are 129M japanese... so it has a weight Smiley And has we all know, Japan has always been a leader in technology and development so it is not crazier than the launch of the Walkman... I think it is a good advantage that the currency is widely used in Japan and promoted locally, it shows that it is a really money and not only speculation

its not specific to Japan. It is also used in the region, it was created in Japan and has been widely adopted by merchants along with BTC. Korea, Hong Kong and Indonesia have also shown an interest in using Monacion.

It seems that Monacoin is a broken card, this coin pumping and now waiting for the dump. But it was fun to see when someone is willing to buy wrappers for real money  Smiley
