Bitflyer, the largest Japanese Exchange, is coming to Europe after a successful registration in the US.

It could be potentially be good for MONA as it is listed on Bitflyer in Japan and may also be offered to European and American investors versus fiat!

https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/news/bitflyer-licensed-eu-becomes-worlds-compliant-exchange/

That's a great news!!!

Great news indeed! let's hype this coin for the next pump Wink

Mona is the only coin today in Coinmarketcap Top100 (huge crash) which is only down a single digit. Along with Neo.

I still hold my Mona and I think its one of the best and safe storages for wealth. It might even grow strong some day because its the japanese Bitcoin. Also japan is one of the few nations who legalized, even support crypto. So if a ban really would happen in China, US ... I think billions would get moved to japanese currencies.

I've been doing some research all morning and I've come to the conclusion that Mona is a safe bet to hedge against the coming volatility with USDT. Everyone is freaking out with Bitfinex and USDT doing the wrong thing which will have enormous effects on the market. Any coin supported by USDT will bleed. Same with BTC & ETH. Monacoin however is a strong coin that is not purchased with USDT, and is relying on JPY which is actually real money. Furthermore, like you said, Japan has legalised crypto. If Mona is a fork of lightcoin, supported by Japanese and is avoiding large purchases from USDT & BTC, I feel like Mona will definitely see $100 worth by years end. I'm about to move 0.5 BTC into Mona. Lets hope my bet pays off!

Wise man. It will.
We need more ambassadors of the coin as it is still pretty unknown. In particular, inform your friends in Japan about it.

Cakes anyone ?

As per Wikipedia:

Monaka (最中) is a Japanese sweet made of azuki bean jam filling sandwiched between two thin crisp wafers made from mochi. The jam can be made from azuki beans but also with sesame seed, chestnuts, or rice cake (Mochi).

Modern monaka can also be eaten filled with ice cream.

The wafers can be square, triangular, or may be shaped like cherry blossoms, chrysanthemums and so on.

Monaka is a type of dessert (wagashi) which is served with tea. There are still many very famous monaka specialty stores in Japan.

Don't check the daily price movements, especially in $ terms.
For alts, only the price in satoshis matter.

Understand the potential of MONA as the main Japanese alt. Japan being the number 1 crypto country thanks to its crypto friendly legal framework. XEM took a hit because of the hack last week. This is good for MONA.

Spend time talking to your friends in Japan. You will realize that MONA and Bitcoin are still widely unknown.

MONA is probably the most undervalued coin in the Top 100. Give it time.

Monacoin is a coin for pets. No wonder the logo and name are very sprouting. It is based on the culture of sprouting, and has practical application in the ACG field. At present, it is only popular in Japan.

Coin for pets ? I think you should study more and realize it's a high tech coin (segwit / atomic swaps) with a cat meme logo which suits Japanese culture.
As few coins have a real international network, I'm fine with MONA being very popular in Japan already.

outside of japan, monacoin has limited potential. based exactly on what you said; its a meme coin for japanese culture. nem still has a much higher trading volume and is a better speculative investment. the price of monacoin just keeps tanking. not a lot of people understand that it wasn't nem's fault the exchange got hacked. the exchange had poor security practices. the price of monacoin just keeps tanking.

The network effect is key. If Mona becomes widely adopted in Japan, it will be used in other parts of the world too.

Today, NEM is down 7% in BTC terms while MONA only 2%...

These are completely different coins. NEM is a blockchain protocol like Ether while MONA is a classic crypto coin like Litecoin.
NEM market cap is 6.7 bln while MONA is 286 mln so I find it a better long term bet.

I notice the 100 btc buy wall two days ago.   They kept Mona from crashing.   Reason why you see only a 2% drop.

i agree but you can say that about every other project.

If Mona becomes widely adopted in Japan, it will be used in other parts of the world too.

please think about that scenario again. i don't think japan has that influence. maybe they did a long time ago but korea has surpassed them. do you have an examples to support that?\

ok. mona has been on a downward trend since 45 days ago.

yea i know but we are all speculating in the market right now.

im only doing this so that people who might buy mona can listen to both sides of the argument.

Monaco Estate is a cryptocurrency real estate investment fund.

Monaco Estate focuses on high end apartment rentals in Monaco and utilizes blockchain smart contracts to allow token holders to receive a monthly profit share via Ethereum payments. Lowering risk and allowing investors to benefit from profit shares, Monaco Estate is the new blockchain startup that will be offering a cryptocurrency backed by real estate rentals in Monaco. The company will be looking to raise up to 50,000 ETH with their Monaco Estate (MEST) tokens which will be backed by real-world assets and have the benefit of offering token holders a share of the company profits every month.

So far, cryptocurrency investments have been highly volatile and unpredictable. Real estate equates to over 60% of the worlds mainstream assets and is seen to be one of the most secure investments.

Backing the Monaco Estate token with some of the world’s most premium real estate assets ensures a solid return via capital growth and rental profits. This will bring to the market a less volatile cryptocurrency that can act as a longer-term investment opportunity for any cryptocurrency investors and much-needed portfolio diversification.

WHY MONACO?

Monaco houses the highest concentration of millionaires anywhere on the planet, making it one of the most sought after prime real estate investment locations in the world.

High demand for properties that increases every year driving huge capital growth and rental income growth. Monaco has a proven track record of huge capital growth year after year.

The renowned tax haven draws in thousands of extremely wealthy clientele looking for minimum of 12 month rentals (needed for them to benefit from Monaco’s tax status). Monaco is one of the best tax jurisdictions for business and real estate in the world, with 0% tax on rental income within Monaco – this allows us to maximize investor returns.

Yes, the coin is not strong in terms of the other coins. It is only more based on the Japanese native culture.

Once again in a declining market, Mona is gaining value in satoshi terms. It means that support is here !
