Out of curiosity.... Let's say everyone ditches this coin, except a group of 10 people. Each running their version of monacoin-qt. Will the coin then exist until the last one "leaves". Or is it possible for creator of coin to somehow "pull the plug" on it?

Altcoins are forever "dying" and getting resurrected at some later date by different developers. So long as all the code is available (and most of it usually is on Github) the coin will, theoretically, live forever.

As we know that altcoin competition is very tight, currently there are more than 1500 coins and tokens and top 10 coins are too strong because it dominates over 85% marketcap, imagine more than 1490 coins and tokens take 15% marketcap and of course this make altcoins dying.

I started to mine the second the wallet came online with 2.2mh , found 5 blocks between 1:19 and 1:35AM then i swapped to OGC launch.
Boot my wallet today and 4 blocks have vanished and only 1 got confirmed ?

It's not like that. What matters to them is tech (MONA is very solid on that point) and community (at this stage, mostly in Japan).
