What is the fastest single card?

dont forget 7990 uses alot of power and will get very hot.

I've got R9 280x it's get 800Kh/s I got 3 Wink And i think it's the best choice.

settings and OS I can only get my XFX r9 280Xs to pull 705mhs each and my Saphire 280Xs to pull between 550 and 650 each have 5 XFXs and 3 Saphires

windwows 7 32 bit and cgminer 3.7.2

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://mona.2chpool.com:5555 -u xxxxx.x -p x --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 -I 13 -w 256 --auto-fan --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 75 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1027 --gpu-powertune -20 --gpu-vddc 1.000

Is this right? Am I the only person left on this pool?

What's happening to this coin? Has it died already?

Guess I'm just on a dead pool, then. Just my luck.

The answer to that you see in the dial to the right... allmost 600Mhash on network.
So not dead

Fair enough. I know coins have a miner drop off point after launch, I just didn't expect the pool I'm on to die.

I'm getting 954KH/s out of a single MSI 7970 GPU at a mind boggling 47 degrees C

This doesn't seem possible.

How is it you are the only one on the planet who can get those speeds and that temp with air cooling?

Also pulling 200+ more kh/s out of a 7970 than anyone else.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

There are some others that I know but not many. Keep in mind that Reaper is a beast to get working at this level (which is why it isnt wide spread).  As for me and those who have it working, it is in our best interest especially with pool mining to be highly more efficient than the competition.  BTW, the fact that I have a basement especially in the winter gives me even more of an advantage. Cool

Are you using reaper source code from the site ? like the v12 or v13 beta 4 ? Or is there a more specific github repository you forked ?

I'm trying to mine as much as I can before that happens because I don't think I can compete at that difficulty. =( Not making much, but it's better than nothing.

I still think that sounds a bit high and cold for a 7970.
I currently have 2 7970s running with a fan blowing the cold Canadian air on them, and they are at 75 degrees and 50% fan speed.

and to put that in to perspective the temp outside, so the air blowing at the cards is -10 degrees so to me sitting at 45 degrees would mean you are in a freezer?
