This happens a lot for coins that are not yet on exchanges. Pools often seem to default to the LTC/USD price (haven't researched why, just noticed that it always seems to happen). Currently, the BTC-E price is $23.68 USD per LTC, just $0.02 from the price you saw on happyminers.

If you notice almost all pools look the same. It is probably cause they use the same open source website code. Lots of them are in a rush to get the pool up ASAP. They do not change all these custom settings. This option to show a price in USD or BTC that you are mining per day is really dumb for a new coin.

Well, it flirted with $48 very briefly in November (http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/period-charts.php?period=3-months&resolution=day&pair=ltc-usd&market=btc-e), but it is only ~$24 at the moment (after recently recovering from the $16 range).

I've been enjoying coinex. Much faster interface than cryptsy so far. Of course, we'll see if that remains the case as coinex becomes becomes popular. So far so good, though.

I too prefer coinex, I just opened a support ticket asking when they were going to add it. Just click the support link on the left hand side on the coinex site.

Think I'll wait until an exchange accepts the coin before I even think about selling my 1566 MONA. Though even then I might just hang on to it for a bit. Not sure yet.
