I dont' know if it's completely dead or not but I tried to sync my wallet last night and it wouldn't do anything. Wouldn't surprise me though.

Infact a coin is like a company!!! You cannot own a coin by yourself, you need a team behind it, that support you and your coin, so personally i think he needs to create a team around the coin, or find someone that can create a team around it. He has some premine coins , so he can give the coin away and hold a few of them for all the work that he did, but someone need to push this one, look at Kitteh, almost dead, and now again some life.

Yeah that's cool and all, except there's way too many morons starting coins and bouncing a week later. I"m not even saying that's what this is, but it sounds like a someone in over their head. Everyone thinks they can start a coin, and then find out a week later, oh hey it takes some knowledge. I wish people would quit wasting everyone's time and making the whole scene look like a joke with all these clown coins. There wasn't even any reason for an OGC.

Now the OGC coin is in fact dying.

Dedicatedpool and Steadymining has already no miners left. Idcray still has a few miners left, but will shut the pool down in a few hours.

It's probably still possible to solomine if you get enough nodes to sync your wallet, but someone will really have to put in some efforts for it to come back to life. If not, it will be history very soon.

I'm trying to contact the owner, as i've most likely a person that want to take over the coin, but at the moment he didn't response. I hope he will be back as i've bought for 3BTC of it!!!! So if he don't continue, then someone else will take over the coin, i cannot let 3BTC go up in dust.

We have just terminated our OGC pool, as it seems there were no working nodes.
All pools seem to have forked, thus, all coins mined will be invalid.

No point in mining a dead coin.

We're out and focussing on USDe instead.
