Is there an easy way to compile any random wallet from the GIT on Xubuntu 13.10?
I tried that during the Moon launch when multipool died. But I didn't succeed before another pools came online, so I just went to them.
It seemed I needed some packages which weren't available from the standard repos and/or were replaced by newer but incomplete versions.

i was able to compile fedoracoin using this guide (for a different coin but it worked for fedora, just swap the gut repositories..), but the binaries only worked in linux.. and i don't know how to solo mine in linux. plus you need nodes and ports for the soloin which i dunno if you can get otherwise from the op's mouth.

You have to have the proper dependencies installed

You can try

You may have to find versions that work on your specific build

I install every packages which were listed on this link and I successfully compiled the FeatherCoin wallet from the terminal using make (from linux to linux, not cross-compiled for Windows). Thank you.
