I use a cloud set up to mine, so will avoid GPU. Any advice as to which coin can still be mined at a good rate? Thanks in advance

Thank you for the replies... I am trying Frozen first, never heard of either of these cryptos but will try both and see what happens. Will post the results back here. Thanks

Did not get much joy with the previous 2 mentioned.
Can I mine unioncoin on a cloud set up?

Frozen works with cloud mining, on linux you do exactly the same as if you were mining Quark, except point it towards a Frozen pool. I too like frozen, it was the first quark clone to combat the fast mining and percieved unfair distribution of QRK. I have nothing against molecule, it is a fair coin (though only because someone removed the Devs Pre-mine!) Atom is a premined coin, as is Dime coin. They can advertise lots due to this but they will also be dumped like crazy if they hit cryptsy. I believe Grain is fair, but don't quote me on it.
I have been offline over the last 2 days, so have missed about 9 other Quark clones. If everyone got behind one CPU coin it would fly. Quark seems most likely, but mining is not so profitable not the block rewards are low. Prime coin is good but very difficult too. I personally wouldn't bother with the very Quark coins that offer no innovation, they are just get rich quicks. Someone could make 100 of them tomorrow, actually at this rate they probably will!

wait till the next cpu coin is launched and hit before the bots.

Yeah, basically the best CPU coin to mine is the one that's just been released, and before the difficulty goes up. I solo mined 100k Particles when it launched in the space of an hour. At the current rate it'd probably take me a week to mine that now.

Bernankoin (BEK) is the most easiest Coin to mine with CPU. The coin is still at early stage and every one can earn big number of coins.
Just try it, All the best.

"Can I mine unioncoin on a cloud set up?"
Yes no problem, use the same directions for quark just use the unioncoin address instead.

Quarkcoin is good. I used to mine Primecoin. But Quarkcoin seems to be leading the way.

All I see is a miner to download... I want to set it up on a cloud. Is that possible? I see no real pool

I like ProtoShares, because it's really only CPU coin. All cpu coin as XPM, QRK, SRC and other you can dig them with a GPU. Even MMC creators said MemoryCoin 2.0 would be resistant to GPU, but now it has a GPU miner and the difficulty jump to the sky. Try PTS mining on ypool.
