Peercoin, any thoughts?

PPC or Peercoin has been on the limelights in trading for a couple of days now. Any thoughts or forecast on on what level will its price value soar during the 1st quarter of 2014?

Peercoin, the currency launched by the mysterious ‘Sunny King’, currently rests at just under one sixth the market cap of litecoin, making it the third-largest coin in existence.

Peercoin uses proof-of-stake, an alternative to the conventional proof-of-work mechanism used by bitcoin. It is designed to produce more coins automatically, based on the number of coins that a person already has in their possession.

John Manglaviti, previously the community relations leader for feathercoin, came on board earlier this year to try and breathe life into peercoin’s community. Working with King (who focuses on technology development), he has recruited 120 volunteers for the currency. Most recently, Canadian exchange Vault of Satoshi announced that it would support peercoin, lending more credibility to the currency.

I do agree, and there is also some speculation that it may even reach $10 per PPC by end of January 2014.

PPC is a very good investment. I bought them at $2.30 a couple of weeks ago. Now double worth.

What Peercoin has going for it:

- Not a premine scam coin like Quark, Mega, World, etc, etc.
- Actually has innovative features by Sunny King the developer
- Has been steadily there at number 3-4 in market cap (non-premine)
- After Litecoin goes through the roof in value in 2014 as most anticipate, PPC will be the next value coin to invest into
- Its traded on BTC-e, so has higher volume trading, other big exchanges might consider it too after LTC, more trading volume potential

It's been a slow and steady up and comer.  For long term investment, don't think you can wrong with it.
