You mean if someone can brute force and figure out your private keys and steal your bitcoins from it, then let me clear that it isn't as easy as you think. Only quantum computers have the power required to brute force and have any chances of cracking the private keys and the normal hardware in todays world isn't capable of it.

No..it is tough to steal someone's bitcoin. Because people keep their bitcoin in different secure wallet like coinbase, blockchain etc. If anyone know their security information then it is possible to steal bitcoin.

This is inst true and can never happen. People's account got hacked because they were careless with the private key and password phrase as the case may be. Due to ignorance, investors signup on phising site that tend to steal details to their email from there access their cryto accounts, especially when the details are saved as draft.

Hi, have you ever thought this?

You know that, to import a wallet you need the private key or your seed. Taking as example the private key (the 52 letters key). It could exist the possibility someone create a software whose function was to try thousands of times to find the private key till it is be done. This would be like the process to find the new block in mining, anyway you can try the times you want in order to find it.

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

Or comment if you have a kind of solution for this...

Regards!

Good criticisms of bitcoin purses and it is reasonable for this kind of critic to be used as input for bitcoin developers to continue to improve security in order to avoid hacking of bitcoin wallet in the future to provide convenience for its users.

That will be possible if you are reckless with your wallet details. Keep your details in a secure place all the times. Do not even think of sharing your wallet data's to anybody, unless needed. And lastly, do not forget to log out your wallet after every use. Do not ever underestimate the capabilities of hackers. They were always on a look-out even for the tiniest facts that they can use. They certainly can do wonders.

Have you ever tried to brute force a 12 digit wifi password? If you do then you know how long it will take before you have the possibility to get the right one.

It is extremely difficult and will take a lot of time before that happens. Your computer might even be the one to surrender first. Grin

That is why we have those seeds to make it hard for those hackers. It aint a simple password like your account.
I got even a hard time memorizing it. Grin

the chances of hackers are free if you made to be neglect for them to hack your wallet we are have the ability to make some security not people by your side or the people that know that you are using bitcoin or even us here that can protect your wallet but it is by ourselves only to be made of.

Yes, you could actually nail all private keys, but good luck trying to unlock 8.467 x 10^80 variations with computer or supercomputer. With that number of varying tries, you are already dead before it even reaches 0.01% of attempts. Unless you are super rich that will invest in a lot of computers just to attempt to unlock that 1% in your lifetime.

They can't steal your bitcoins if you have a safe wallet with 2fa security.

I prefer Phishing pages, or web wallets or scam exchanges or just Bitcoin Doubling scripts rather than scratching my mind about a program that is almost impossible to make.
If someone really wants to steal a bitcoin there's another easy way around it instead of creating a program that can run in the loop to find the private key.

Now a days, stealing is not just as easy as one two three for the hackers.  They could do it as long as they want and we just don't know who will their victims will be.  The best thing to do is to be careful when using PCs from internet shops and some other devices that aren't yours to minimize the risks of being hacked and your bitcoin be stolen.

Your private key and other information about your address are important because hackers can easily get not just your bitcoin but also your other coins. It’s a must to protect it, don’t wait for the moment that you will be a victim before you realized the important of your security.

Private keys are very sensitive and it is meant to be put in maximum security. Stealing is only possible when your private keys are someway become leaked. So you have the responsibility to keep your info only to yourself. There are many topics about wallet security to help you further.

It is important to secure your private key, but it's not that easy to gain access to your coins. You just don't hack into a random person in the Internet. You need something that will make that person stand out from the crowd. There's a reason why 99% of people in the Internet have never been hacked. Don't make yourself stand out, don't tell the world how much money you have, don't register anywhere with your private email and you'll be fine.

If someone does not know your private key then it is very unlikely he will be able to steal our Btc. because it is very difficult to memorize or scramble the private key, it will surely fail. unless they know our private key, then easily he will take our assets.
