I transferred some darkcoin into atomic-trade about 2 hours ago. No pending deposit, no balance. I tried to open a chat with support, no one available. I opened a ticket, they didn't give me a ticket number for reference and they haven't responded as of yet. I would suggest that anyone planning on doing business at this site, take my experience to heart. I'll update this thread if things work out, but I'm starting to be concerned.

It's been about 8 hours since my deposit was recorded in the blockchain. I have not received a reply to my ticket nor has my account wallet been updated to reflect a change in the balance. Luckily (I suppose) the transaction indicates that the funds have not been redeemed. Presumably, they are still awaiting some resuscitation on the site back end. I am still holding out hope. I just thought other potential customers of this site should be aware of the turn-around time for having tickets resolved through this exchange.

For a one man team, the support is excellent. I've never heard of anyone having a issue go unresolved or unresponded to for very long. From my own experience I've had issues fixed within 24 hours which is faster then any other exchange I've used (and some of those actually employed support teams!). Its one of the reasons I choosing Atomic as my preferred exchange as I've found it to reliable and trustworthy. I have no concerns about using it or keeping my coins there and have been a member for months now without problems.

Thank you Byron.

Nope so no bots on exchange either.

It doesn't mean a bot can't be made to work with atomic-trade though. For example, you can program the bot to issue trades right through the web interface using site scrapping techniques. This is exactly what I did for mintpal despite them not having a trading api publicly available. I haven't bother with atomic-trade only because the volume isn't there.

True but it does keep script kiddies that don't what they are doing from flooding the exchange with .0001BTC trades. Someone that knows what they are doing and is automating smart trades is a different matter. We could use the volume increase. Nope so no bots on exchange either.

Did the exchange operators actually say they're going back on their plan to implement a trading api? The last relevant post I found regarding this is here: Does Atomic have a trade API?
trade api is what i'm working on now. It is based on tcp socket messages so it can be robust and provide real time information without the hassles of http. So whatever the hell happened to this plan? Any serious exchange must have some kind of trading api imo.

Far as I know it is still on his to-do list but not sure how high compared to other projects.
But a lot of what has been done is infrastructure that does not show when using exchange but will keep exchange up when API is opened up

This will coincide with the switch to our own private data center.
