Solid coin could die out in a week and then bee replaced with plasticcoin no guarentee any of them survive for long

Damnit. Hand slipped and I posted that last one before I was done typing.

SolidCoin's been most of the RECENT activity in that group, yes. But only for a short while. And the fork may or may not last. And i0coins may or may not successfully revive. And we had a few people talking about forks in general. And I recall a thread where someone was commenting about what goals on forks should be.

If it just gets renamed 'SolidCoin' then mods might get stuck renaming it every two weeks at the rate we've been going with the alternate code forks recently... and then it's still just one at a time.

From the point of view of this being Bitcoin Talk, I think it really does make a lot more sense to just consider "Related to bitcoin's code but not quite the same thing" forks to all be equal, as well.
