And here goes the first mining pool for the new PoW HybridScryptHAsh256 PoW algorithm!

http://ibipot.com

you should use the new second generation bfgminer (here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=397831.msg4814800#msg4814800)

example:
bfgminer -o http://ibipot.com:3333 -u username.workername -p 123

with the new bfgminer, mcproxy functionalities are integrated all in one software, you do not need mcproxy anymore.

OR

if you want to continue us cgminer/bfgminer (first version) + mcproxy, you can!.
You will need to setup your own instance of stratum-mining-proxy (https://github.com/mrtexaznl/stratum-mining-proxy).

We are here to support miners! Post in the forum to get help.  Wink

we estimate that between 10.000-50.000 small ASICs have been produced, many of them can be reused (with MED  Cheesy )

will be good and more flexible for us, if we have and windows version on stratum-mining-proxy.
If any have problems with one, can try other way.

v3.9.0.1-med requires mcproxy;
I think that eestimees suggests a ready-to-use binary release of stratum-mining-proxy for windows.

correct?

bfgminer3901+mcproxy+bfgminer3901 Huh??

no no, is is more easier Smiley
look http://ibipot.com/index.php?page=gettingstarted

here is how to if you used cgminer+mcproxy+stratum-mining-proxy before with USB Erupters:

1) download MED bfgminer: https://github.com/mrtexaznl/bfgminer/releases/download/v3.9.0.3-med/win32-bfgminer-2.zip
2) unpack it to c:\ or where ever you like
3) create shortcut of bfgminer.exe (eg to desktop or where ever you like)
4) open windows device manager
5) uninstall CP210x with also "delete drivers" option checked
6) download drivers (cgminer and bfgminer use different drivers) http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx
7) unpack to somewhere and run install "As Administrator", choose x32 or x64 version depending you OS version.
Cool in device manager, right click on your computer name and click on "scan for hardware changes"
9) wait untill windows has installed driver for all you USB Erupters
10) right-click on bfgminer shortcut you created earlier, choose properties
11) in Targer input box, appen to the end " -o http://ibipot.com:3333 -u yourname.workername -p 123 -S all" (do not use " -marks)

start the shortcut... it takes some time to scan all ports, and then it sould start hashing Smiley

EDIT: fixed bfgminer link
https://github.com/mrtexaznl/bfgminer/releases/download/v3.9.0.3-med/win32-bfgminer-2.zip

And here goes the first mining pool for the new PoW HybridScryptHAsh256 PoW algorithm!

In the site it says it supports

Tested to run GOOD
AM USB Block Erupter
BFL Jalapeno 4.5Ghash and 7Ghash version

and there are 2 miners with a total of 21G/H...
I thought this coin was supposed to have resistance to huge ASICs...
no point mining with my 333M/H BE when there are huge whales with 7G/H just like in BTC...

We dicovered a little hashrate calculation error, actually there are no 21G/H miners... and the more ASIC power you have, the more CPU power you need also, there comes the limit for cutting big miners off.

MED has resistance to huge ASICs, and a 7 GH/s is not huge at all.
for example, with 10 usb erupters you have about 3.3 GH/s.

even with one single erupter you get your shares. I think you should try to mine and see what you find.

Just logged on to the Pool and it seems to be working fine with the updated bfgminer. I still have a very large HW error. It seems to stay at a constant 38%, it's the same weither Solo Mining or on the Pool...Can't figure out why...

My 4 Antminers are chugging along at avg. 3 gh according to bfgminer but the Pool is showing 10 gh...not sure where the large diffrence comes from.

how is the cpu load?

bfgminer supports several different ASICs, it seems that some software drivers are better then others (i.e. some devices have more HW errors then others, it does not depend on cpu and/or diff)

we will update also cgminer with integrated mcproxy functionality; cgminer has different software drivers for ASICs than bfgminer so that will probably help.

At the moment I can't look at the CPU load, I'm logged on to my other Computer (running the Miner) over a remote Destop Connection and I can't start the Task Manager. All the time I was Solo Mining ithe CPU usage was ca. 25%. it's running on an i3.

I just want to clear this

as eestimees say bfgminer v3.9.0.1-med requires mcproxy
and when I point my miner directly to pool with  bfgminer v3.9.0.1 - where is mcproxy ? and stratum ?
I understand things , that- if i use bfgminer v3.9.0.1  i need mcproxy and stratum-mining-proxy
only bfgminer v3.9.0.1 don't work

If you mean bfgminer v3.9.0.3 , then OK I agree

I want to be clear
if i just want to try and work better for me
bfgminer v3.9.0.1+mcproxy+stratum-mining-proxy
and i use windows , last part (stratum-mining-proxy) missing for me

If you download modified bfgminer (the link on mediterraneancoin.org) then all required scrypt calculations and proxy is coded into bfgminer, no other programs need Smiley

so latest bfgminer-med will not require mcproxy

you can not use bfgminer from other sources, ok you can but it will produce lot of invalid shares and you get banned from pool..

Could it be that the HW errors I'm getting are part of the CPU/Asic ratio limiter? My Antminers are OC'd and normally hash at about 2 gh's each and they are hashing at about 950 kh - 1.3 gh's at the moment (each). The HW error rate is steady at approx. 42% over the last hour, if I were to add the 42% back into the hashrate it would be about 2 Gh's....(my normal hashing rate). Maybe there is nothing really wrong...I'll have to set it up in my Laptop with the i7 Processor to check the hashrate, theoretically the i7 should allow a higher hashrate than the i3 and therefore a lower HW error...I'll try when I get home tonight.
