Hi, can i mine Mediterran with an HEX16A miner 7GHs, can you please explain how?

download bfgminer for MED, run it like:

bfgminer --http-port 8080 -o pool:port -u user -p 1

then on hex16a cgminer pool line point it to your pc, eg if you pc has IP 192.168.0.55 then correct line for hex16a pool is:

192.168.0.55:8080

Thanks eestimees, I will try. If I have understand I have to run BFGMINER-[MED] ad then launch my usual CGMINER instance to run HEX16A pointing to BFGMINER.

Hi mill0601, thanks for sharing, I am now compiling my own code from source because I use a mini distro (TiniCore) that use its own USB driver that is incompatible with standard CGMINER internal usb driver.

Re-arranging pool server require to move pool wallet to another location. This means that all payouts will be paused. Also there might be situation when worker report that pool does not have new work.
Miners itself will not be affected, as they are connected to different servers.

I'm sure many would do that, but for that merchants need to have some more value for MED..

1) vote on cryptsy so MED would get listed
2) MED gets more attention + there becomes need = value increases
3) merchants will come with their shops.

I personally sold miners + small things for MED. And I will continue when I got my everyday work load off a bit. Currently not much free time
