Should anyone going to start MicroBitcoin own node, here is actual active peer list from getpeerinfo:

Code:
addnode=54.180.14.12
addnode=52.79.198.217
addnode=52.194.177.217
addnode=34.201.170.73
addnode=85.25.133.32
addnode=106.247.254.178
addnode=52.78.59.6
addnode=74.118.139.241

add them to your microbitcoin.conf to avoid wallet sync problem.

MicroBitcoin is Launching New Network

MBCians, we are firing up engines! New network launching is set to happen at 1,137,200th block which is estimated to occur on October 9, 2019, at 11:00 UTC.

[Key Features of New Network]
-MBCs (MicroBitcoin) which haven't been moved since hardfork will be burned. (There is approximately 2,700,000 BTC activated so far from the 525,001 block)
-Locking up the 50% of the premined contributors' MicroBitcoin. (Almost 5,000,000,000 MBC will be technically locked up until 2021.)
-Maximum Supply will be almost 61,000,000,000 MBC. It will be different according to the snapshot amount.
-Reward for first block of new network will be changed from 12,500 MBC to 5,500 MBC. And reward for each new block will be calculated using the function in the document below.
-To make network more reliable, prevent block spamming and create better fee market, block size will be decreased to 300kb.
-New PoW lgorithm - modified YesPower (sha256 replaced with blake2b)

You can read more about new network in following this post https://mbc.wiki/d/31-new-network-launch

i also had to change the file /src/support/csv.h

- enum class Term : char { CRLF = -2 };
+ enum class Term : int { CRLF = -2 };

makes sense because char cant be negative...

otherwise it would not compile on my raspberry pi 4 based pool running a homebrew ubuntu 32bit userland.

the changes to the y-nomp are already implemented for my private pool. will this be ready in 2 days or will i face similar problems when switching from testnet to mainnet?

kind regards

I have decided to release my optimized rainforest v2 miner for NVIDIA

https://github.com/sp-hash/microbitcoin/releases/tag/1.0

The miner is around +400-500% faster than the DJM34 miner

Oef thats a big difference between my AMD miner if i look at your results!

Hopefully the AMD dev will create some improvements because this difference is just to big Sad

The following post by me should be ignored. Power2b is incompatible with current yespower
code and requires a new miner.

Microbitcoin has successfully forked to a new algo. The GPU unfriendly yespower algo.

Its yespowerr16? Any pool working on it?

The algo is called power2b apparently based on yespower but I don't know the parameters.
The OP and the web page still refer to rainforestv2.

If the parameters are known it should be mineable with cpuminer-opt.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803.msg52048536#msg52048536

Edit: I found the parameters. I tried it at zergpool but it doesn't look like the stratum is
running yet, so YMMV.

Code:
-a yespower -N 2048 -R 32 -K "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds"

-New PoW lgorithm - modified YesPower (sha256 replaced with blake2b)

blake2b merkle root. An opensource CPU miner has already been released.

rainforestv2 algo was good. i didnt like only cpu mineable algo.

The problem is most traditional GPU algos are too easy to implement with ASIC or FPGA,
But that may be changing with some novel new algos.
