1. Im not the dev of the coin!

I just read the german forum here and found a nice catch of Maddin0815.(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=398456)

He discovered something on GitHub, called LeproCoin [LPC]

Some info / thoughts:

2. Seems to be a coin of some (big ?) russian forum / group (http://leprosorium.ru) it´s kind of famous as reddit or 4chan over there….
3. Kind of a “soft-launch” Coin is working but actually mined with very low speeds.
4. They made the wallet nice, translated the text and got a cool logo!
5. I highly like this idea, launching a coin without making too much dust, so thats why we will
launch http://lpc.poolerino.com for that coin.
6. They got a Win-Wallet, Mac-Wallet, Source, cool gfx… all the things most new alt-coins are missing…….


Now some coin specs from the source at github:

LeproCoin (LPC) - a shameless clone of SmallChange, which uses scrypt as a proof of work scheme and is intended for microtransactions.
15 seconds block targets: beat that MinCoin!
42 007 680 total coins
no subsidy after approximately 5 years;
4 coins per generated block
difficulty retargets every 0.35 days
currently peers are looked up over IRC only
Other than that, this coin is exactly like Litecoin and could be used as a real cryptocurrency. All of the coin parameters are chosen arbitrarily or at most with 'fairness' towards everyone in mind.
Credits go to the original authors/communities that created Bitcoin, Litecoin and SmallChange.

PRE MINING (!) Please read! IMHO:

“getmininginfo” shows block# 50645 ...so:

50645 x 4 Coins = 202580 Coins are out
202580 x 100 / 42007680 (total coins) = 0,482% of the coins are mined until now. (may be a bit more, don't know when you read this...)

BTW: Difficulty is at: 0.01033983 atm

It seems there is no to nearly non pre-mining here….. my opinion, but hopefully the dev will explain more….but he just posted something in russian forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=398539

So for me its “soft-launched” without dev mining his own pocket…..

Thats not even 0.5% of all coins... hell I even mined 200 blocks since I found it.

I mined over 600 blocks since I found it on github this morning...    I posted my found about 5 hours ago here on the german board( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=398456.0 ) ...  I think there are some others have mined too....  will you call this realy premining?

51k block mined already... whats the point. some one , or a few own 200k coins more then you. soon as it goes on any exchange. they will dump it and value will drop

Did you had math in school or just singing and dancing ?  If you dump 0.5% of all coins into any exchange, yea much will happen... wold war z will start.

The source was open to the public since 6 days... in 6 days the devs didnt mine the fuck out of the coin.... yes its pure scam, thank you bitwho, glad youve been here.

haha of course you will root for this coin. you have had  ago at it for 600 blocks like you said. 600x4= 2400. that a lot of coins for a slow 4 coins a blocks payment. you know you will be able to cash in once the difficulty hits above 1 and people will barely get 100 coins a day.

Well known dev ? for most ppl devs of alt coins are scammers, cause they didnt made enough coins with start of a new one.

Future plans will be announced when dev writes something, give him some time.
