Hello forum,

Can someone explain or point me into the right direction please?

When I opened my blockchain.info wallet today, all transactions and balances are shown in USD, and there is button "Cash into coins" leading to "cashintocoins.com" service.

Same time I received an email from Blockchain "Wallet Backup" with an attached file wallet.aes.json, which contains "everything you need to restore your bitcoin balance".

I am now confused, as I always expected BTC balance to be shown in blockchain.info wallet.
Is the email attachment safe and necessary to use?

Thanks!
Kisa

if you click on the USD values shown on the blockchain site after you've logged in to your wallet I believe they should alternate between being shown in BTC and local currency.

Switched itself back to USD last night... apparently that cookie expired.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.
