diamond boost, temps never went above 77, i have a toxic 280x in the same case always running 85-86. Had a flash and a nasty smell and the diamond was toast, rma'd it last night at midnight, shipped it back this morning to futureshop, they no longer carry it so I will just get a cash refund. sux big time especially since it is so hard to get 280x's at the moment

In an open-air solution, my 3x 280x runs between 57c and 63c.

But what is all this talk about not getting a hold of 280x cards? I can have hundreds delivered in 2days here. Always in stock everywhere.

I have been working on a website where users will be able to post images, videos, and stories about ufos and paranormal things in exchange of UFO that will be taken from a personal faucet I have set up. Other visitors will have the ability to "tip" some UFO too for the most interesting stories. Will be available next week.

Apart from that, I am going to implement Kimoto's gravity well so diff. retargets every block. Will be done too by next week.

Why not investing in a 7950 ? The price/hashrate diff is much better than a 280X you will get almost the same hashrate (maybe 20 to 50Kh/s diff) for like 100$ cheaper   running 3 of them (buyed 170e/card) and i'm running between 2000 and 2100 KH/s

In my case, a used 7950 is almost impossible to get a hold of. And the price is almost the same as a 280x.
And IF you can get a 7950 to mine at 600kh/s, it`s still 200kh/s away from a 280x. (at least Vapor-x and Toxic)

I got my 7950 brand new for 170e (~230USD) and i get 685-695KH/s per card A friend bought 3x 280X for 260e per card (~355 USD) and get only 750 KH/s per card, so overall he spent around 350USD more for finally mining at 2.3MH/s instead of 2.1MH/s. Maybe the price is varrying from country to country but here (France) 280X are really much expensive when buyed brand new

I am in atlantic Canada, no stores within 500KM of where I live keep them i stock and 90% of all Canadian Web vendors are either out of stock or have the price jacked up to over 500-600 dollars. I got my Diamond Boost from Futureshop online in Dec before they discontinued it for 375, and then I got a Toxic 280x from futureshop online for the brief moment they had 3 in stock and none since for 415$
I check everyday but as I said most Cdn vendors online have no stock or crazy inflated price on hardware not worth the price.
Even Bestbuy.ca has 0 stock 99.99% of the time. But hey if someone knows of someplace online that has stock and is not crazily inflated Id appriciate it. I like the toxic it is an awesome card, looks and performance wise. I agree with Skleven about 7950's they are not being produced anymore and no one is selling them. Also my toxic get 800Kh/s and I do not know of any 7950 out there that would touch that

What brand is this? I have had XFX, Gigabyte and Vapor-x 7950s, but it was only the Gigabyte i managed to get over 600kh/s.
And here in norway, the cheapest 7950 i have seen(used), was around. $320, and a 280x is between $350 and $400.
