I would be nice for this coin if there were more pools, it is so dangerous that one pool as 90% of the total network hashing power most of the time. We did have more choices before. When you have a good pool though with minimal to no issues you dont want to leave. So any new pools openning up for this coin will have to figure out a way to pull loyal miners away from a pool they already know they can count on.

http://115.29.37.3:8080/index.php

I mined at this pool. But now my account is blocked. I emailed the admin 2 days ago but I didn't got any respons. Now the pool is in maintenance mode.

Did I loose my coins?  Cry

That pool robbed a bunch of us of over a combined 9million+ UFO coins, most of us left that pool sometime ago
Jesus, so I lost 500k UFO. That sucks.

But why is it dangerous? I mean in a technical was?

maybe the delay on retarget fix, time is runnign out to this coin coming wrothless
The retarget fix is not what will kill this coin, Higher dif makes it harder to pump and dump a coin. What this coin needs is more promotion, more variety of things that can be done with it online and being on one of the big exchanges. a coin is  worthless if there is no point in having it or if you cannot do anything of worth with it. And I am sorry but the majority of people that signed up for the SciFi exchange were just individuals hoping to sell those coins for btc or ltc. There was no big flock of idividuals with BTC and LTC signing up to buy up all those coins.

Starting to see first buy orders. I suggest you not to dump your coins as best is yet to arrive. With Kimoto's gravity and new exchanges coming I believe coin will grow fast.

Hey dev, when the Kimoto's Gravity Well will be implemented? To have a schedule here of developments would help the coin a lot.

Should probably shutdown new registrations at the notnull pool everyone is using until the hash is spread out more properly.

I don't know enough to say what is a good retarget time. Maybe some who are more knowledgeable can address that.

Also, I just got a bunch of coins sent to me seemingly at random. Anyone else get some at random like that? Anyone know how to find out what it is from?

Are they from the pool? Yes probably god idea to shutdown new registrations for the time being.

Also people PM the developer to see why he is missing. He said last week that he will fix the retarget to one block in this week. So far no news and no tweets from the official UFO account. If he doesn't want the coin the he should leave the ownership to someone that wants.

I just started to mine on this one http://ufo.happyminers.net/

For better distribution of the hash rate (also it has lower fees Smiley )

I`m jumping over to happyminers. What`s wrong with all the pool operators? Seems like they don`t care if anything goes south.

Edit:

I now see there is the same soing on there. 3336%... What is goin on??

Pool http://ufo.notnull.org is working fine again. All balances were paid so it was probably just a lag of the server?
